Railjet Xpress RJX867, from Bregenz to Flughafen Wien, arrives in Salzburg Hbf and couples to RJX67, which travels from München Hbf to Budapest-Keleti, to continue the ride as a double consist train until Wien Hbf

Actually, you can see Railjet locomotives pulling normal IC trainsets or freight trains, so they must have conventional coupling
