The future of my family was on my shoulders, I took a chance and changed jobs and found myself convinced I wouldn’t pass the 65. I was freaking out heading into the exam. There were 8 or 9 instances I read a question and immediately remembered key moments of your videos. I passed the 65 first attempt and cried happy tears in the car. From the bottom of my heart Dean, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Everyone listen here. Passed my s65 today second attempt. Let me tell you! Keep at it and KEEP Dean in your daily study routine! I would Randomly play his vids here and there. TRUST me do the explication exams by Dean and the lecture videos he makes! Also the key that helped me familiarize myself that im actually doing good was watching Dean and Brian Lees podcast episodes!!!!
Hey Dean!! Just wanted to leave a comment of appreciation because I just passed my 65 today and I couldn’t have done it without your content! I was lost in my career path and had no plans for what I wanted to do but after watching your videos I found a passion and the information to achieve it. You’re the best Dean!!!
Dean! I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you!!! Your generosity and wisdom has helped me so much. I passed my series 65 today and I have to say so much of that stemmed from you and your channel. Thank you for helping one of my dreams come true!
Dean, can’t thank you enough for the patience and dedication in putting this material together for people like me. Your content was by far the most helpful. Passed my series 65 yesterday! Would be happy to to do a debrief if your in need to try and give back. Thank you again!
Hi Dean, I followed along with you and Chris during the test exam. I found it helpful and hope to pass my test that I am scheduled to take next week. Thank you
Thank you for putting these out there and helping both those on the call and those watching! If I may make a suggestion, it would be very helpful if you read all the choices as well and not just the question. This would be very helpful for those of us who either cannot read the fine print very well, or who are listening as opposed to watching to kind of have this subconscious studying in the background. Thank you again!
Hey Dean! I have been obsessing on all of these explications and I appreciate them so much! A constructive criticism however, you have mentioned multiple times that a number of us listen and watch on our mobile devices. Believe it or not I listen in the car a lot so I'm not actually reading the questions I'm listening to your great explications of the questions in the answers. So in this particular video, it's not very helpful for those of us that are just listening or are looking on a mobile device and can't really see because you read the question and then we hear Chris say I'm going to go with A which means nothing... This is definitely meant to be more constructive than criticism, I totally appreciate you both!
Hi Dean, thank you for your work, I have been studying through your videos. I was wondering how you got the answer/calculation for the question number 84? thank you!
Hello! I found your explication videos and it gave me the confidence to start studying for the S65 (again!). 6/7 years of industy experience and am 6/63 licensed. I watched all your explications and then blew through STC texbook/vieos in 1 week. I take the S65 on Thursday and I am curious if I should go take S7 since info will be fresh in my head. How much overlap is there? Professional opinion on this? Currently scoring 80s & 90s on practice exams. THANK YOU!!!
@@Series7Guru Thank you!! I just passed S65 :) I was surprised by the Q bank being so diffrent than the actual exam. Years ago, the exams were more similar to my study material. I'm going to start studying for the 7 Top Off. Do you have a preffered vendor for the S7 Top Off in addition to Kaplan?
@@user-fi7zu1uc3x Hi! I have my exam in a few days, did you think the Qbank questions were more difficult than the actual exam questions? did the qbank questions still prepare you well enough? your response is greatly appreciated!
for question 65, answer IV is differnet from the 10% rule of not owning outstanding company stock since it is labeled as "outstanding shares of another registerd investment company" ?
Question 55. Wouldn't it be $0 because their income exceeds the threshold allowable to contribute to an IRA? Or is the correct answer $6k because the question didn't specify either Trad or Roth IRA, where a Roth has high AGI phaseout and exclusion amounts?
@@Series7Guru Right. Doesn't Sharon work for Highwater Advisors? There is a place of business in State X. Is it a misprint and the second State X should be Y?
Question #66 threw me for a loop. Under the USA, isn't the exemption for people who SOLELY provide advice on U.S. Government securities? The person clearly provides advice on both futures contracts "in addition to" government securities. If it's in addition to, it's not solely. Therefore, they'd be required to register as an IA.
@@Series7Guru I am scheduled to take my 65 next tuesday and was hoping to do an hour tutoring session with you sometime before. I saw on your website that you were all booked up, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask directly if you had anything open up!
@@christopherjames5276 Hey Chris, would you say the simulated exams were helpful form Kaplan or would you recommend the mastery exams and midterm as better examples of the 65 exam?
Missed mine with a 68% even with their new score update. I’m hopeful I pass next go around. Sometimes I wish I took the 66 instead. I already have 7 & 63

Yes. Can be booked at deantinneytutoring.setmore.com. $225 an hour.

Hey Dean, thanks for the very helpful practice test. Question about 129, I thought stock dividends weren't considered sales?
What is the QID? They are if payment. They are not if no payment.

Question 66 can you explain why no registration was required considering they are giving advice on futures contracts, please.
Futures are not securities under the USA. Futures are regulated by the CFTC.
Question 77 seems to have been removed from the Q Bank. Still curious about that one😊
What is the QID?
I don’t understand #32. It’s a federally covered advisor with an office in State X. Why doesn’t she have to register in X since she is in X?
IAR of a federally covered IA only registers in a state if they have a place of business
