It's amazing how much I learned from this I loved the lighthouse con video you did with the fantasy dwarf I dream to be able to just draw with ink the way you do 😂 those are goals of a lifetime
3D total has a couple books on Character Design, Fundamentals of Character Design, Fundamentals of Creature Design, Character Design for the Entertainment Industry, Designing stylized characters, designing Stylized animals. Tom Bancroft has books from almost 2 decades ago Designing characters with personality, character design mentor. Stephen Silver has designing Characters the silverway. Marcos Mateau Mastre jhas Framed Environment design and the framed ink series the best books on composition I have seen. What I like about Tom Bancrofts books and the 3D total ones I mentioned are the break down of the design process and sample projects to work on. As for what I learned in school 2 decades ago studying industrial design, I have yet to find a book on it directly, but most ideas are transferable to other subject matter. If you are into creature design and want a large collection of projects to work on Marc Holmes Designing Creature and Characters is a great pick not as informative as the 3D total books but you will learn through working through projects which I think was key to learning when I was studying ID. Its great for a self starter, not easy by any means, but I believe they can help to start building design skills.
I appreciate you doing these. I know you post about them on your instagram. I dod think your discord would appreciate it if someone could p[ost about these live streams there too. maybe under events. I dont have instagram and always miss your streams but i do have the discord

You don’t speak about values in your drawing nor the direction of light.😂
