It's pretty sweet. No sharp spine though, but it's super comfortable in the hand and it comes with a polished edge right out of the box. I'm loving it!

Happy fatwood day! Looks like a nice knife. I have looked at the hogue fixed blades for a while. Since they are licensed the sig name I may need one to match with my carry pistol.
Yeah I have the K490 lionsteel and I tell ya what they come with a really thick edge and if you're able to lay-err back then they definitely transform into an incredible knife but the steel is freaking HAAAARD so it'll take diamond plates and lots of time to lay the edge angle back! I did a convex on mine and it turned into a true "do anything" kind of a knife and do it quite well too! I do also have the 7in version of this hogue ex-fo1 another great knife 👌

Hey Timbo I don't know if you drink diet soda but I quit the diet coke 20 - 25 a week, switched to H2O and my foot, elbow and knee pain vanished within a couple weeks. Not sure if it would help but just wanted to pass it along. Thanks for showing this knife! 👍
I have a genetic connective tissue disorder that has caused my joints to break down..I do drink diet soda, and I may try that. Might help, might not, but if I don't try, I'll never know!
I bought 7" rosewood model a couple years ago. Black cerakote holds up pretty well to batoning but it does wear. I love this knife, I'm not sure why it's not more popular besides maybe the price

Sorry to hear that brother. I have a genetic connective tissue disorder which is why I have so many joint problems, but I can relate to anyone having back issues. I'm well aware of how much back pain can screw with your life! I hope you get feeling better very soon!
@@timbo4374 hey Timbo I was in a bad car wreck was I was about 18 a head on collision a drunk driver hit me doing 70 mph….. anyway it comes and goes sometimes worse than others but I’ve been dealing with it so long…… anyway where do you get your fatwood? I get mine from Walmart or Home Depot I get it in a big box!!!!! Yours looks so gooey and sticky why gives that to you or where do you get yours from!!!! Thanks bud

Can you light a grill during the ban? If so, fire up the BBQ with a bit of fatwood and cook up some dogs! If not, then dang, that really DOES suck!
