Kuga-san: Your videos are true to the aesthetic beauty of the places you show. These videos are a major source of happiness and vicarious travel for us, while we remain unable to visit Japan because of the pandemic. The most sincere thanks to you for making these videos and making them so thoughtfully and tastefully.
I only got here recently but quickly decided to stay. Your videos are something else. Very informative and fascinating. No voiceover makes them so relaxing! Cheers to you!
I live on an island in Sweden called Gotland, and we also have a ferry between Gotland and the mainland Sweden. Our ferry takes 3 hours, so in the cabins, we pay extra for them, we only have sofas and a very small table, a toilet with only a shower. No beds. You can rest on the sofa so you are rested for maybe a long drive upon arrival. Last year we were in Japan and loved it! We took the ferry to Busan, South Korea, though. It also took 3 hours. We so want to come back to Japan!! :) Thank you for sharing this comfortable video!
Jeff, I agree. I was thinking the same. What I like Kuga san’s production is that Kuga san does not use background music. That would have interfered the actual sonic experience that Kuga san captures so that viewers can experience it.
@@zan77460 Indeed. I stumbled across this channel very recently, and I really appreciate the candid production style. It's almost like being able to see and hear the world thru his eyes and ears. Thank you, Kuga-san. Domo arigato gozaimashita :)
Thank you for bringing us on another trip. The Japanese-style room seems very authentic. I enjoy it when you show your foods and describe the tastes, even for tea back in your room. I have only ridden the ferry to Mackinac Island, in Michigan. The Island does not have automobiles (they use horses and bikes) so the ferry is much smaller than yours. Mackinac Island is small but I recommend that you visit it.
Brings back memories! I used to ride on ferry ships like this when I went for college in Manila. The end and the start of every semester was always a treat!
Well thanks to your videos, I just booked my first-ever ferry trip. Toyama (car) -> Niigata (Lavender) -> Otaru -> (car) -> Tomakomai (Suisen) -> Tsuruga -> (car) -> Toyama. Three days, two nights. I'm going with a friend (driver) in late November, and really looking forward to the trip!
You really enjoy life Kuga-san. If you ever visit Scandinavia in future i recomend to use one of the ferrys between Stockholm and Finland or Estonia. Or the ferry between Gothenburg - Kiel in Germany. In those ferrys you also can enjoy a little bit of night-life. If you are lucky you mait find a soul-mate there ;) Trainmaneger Lasse from Sweden.
I am a new subscriber from the Philippines and I am still stunned with the beauty of Japan and it's culture. It was supposedly my second time in Japan this month but was canceled due to the Corona virus.
oh wow that ferry looked awesome! That room was so cool ~! thanks for showing yourself in the video! You're a good looking guy and it really showed us to scale how large or small the room is. It looked pretty spacious for the amount of time that you would be spending in there. Did they have western rooms too?
Wow. it looks so peaceful! I just came from another video where people are fighting about wearing masks, and was upset about that but your videos have put me completely at ease. Thank you for this. Greetings from Upstate NY, USA
Another nice video mr kuga san. I can imagine the feel of riding these ships to and from Hokkaido passing the tsugaru straits over the seikan tunnel where the hayabusa shinkansen trains are literally passing thru while we are sailing above ⛴️🚅🚄. 1,000,000,000% awesome. Safe travels and blessings mr kuga san and blessings to all the people and the nihongo workers that poured their heart and souls into the making of the kanmon and seikan tunnels of nihon, bringing nihon into one🙏📿✝️⛪️🇯🇵.
Thank you for the amazing video. It was 15 minutes and 26 seconds of relaxation and happiness. I learned about a new ferry link and..... Andon lamp. Your videography and editing skills are impressive.
Thanks so much for this yet again great content! I love watching you show around the luxurious rooms and on ferries! It is so nice to see an accommodation with a cool private deck. Hoping that when the pandemic is over, I can finally go on a ferry trip in Japan! Thanks for the cool content as always!
I was so sad when the karaoke and game room were closed :(. But I’m loving your videos. I really need to take a vacation after this pandemic, even if it’s solo.
I live in California, United States. I've only been on a few ferries, but it was no different than riding on a bus. The one you showed was like a luxury hotel -- on water! I could get used to that easily. My most memorable ferry ride was from San Diego to Coronado Island. No biggie, maybe a half-hour trip. But the new Coronado bridge had just been built, and this was the last trip, after which ferry service ceased forever, the end of an era. It was August of 1969 and had just begun a 50-year career as a professional musician. Folk music was the rage, and I had my guitar with me, of course. We all sang the whole trip out, and it was terrific fun. I've been on boats since, including a few gigs on yachts, but that had to be all-time. A ride on your boat would certainly top that, in terms of pure enjoyment, but could never be as memorable. "Ah, for the open sea, mate, That's the life for me. Ah to be a bum with a barrel of rum, Spend all o' me life carefree! Ah for the open sea, mate, That's the life I love. Lass on me arm, She's a bonnie schoolmarm, Naught but the stars above." ---(By me, just now, ASCAP but who gives a fig. Have fun with it if you like.)
I am a Taiwanese and I have been to Japan for about 11 times since I was only 6yr old. (I am 17yrs old now, our family go abroad almost 2 times a year) I have been to 東京 福岡 大分 熊本 大阪 京都 奈良 名古屋 岡山 廣島 宮城 岩手 青森 秋田 山形 北海道 etc. Everywhere is beautiful and comfortable. Our family also have been to Germany, America, Italy, Spanish, Israel, Jordan, Singapore, China. I can say that Japan is the best one! (If you want to ask me about the second one I will answer "Taiwan" haha) Finally, thank for your sharing of something like this. Very like your video!!!
Japanese ferries always amazes me not only from their ships but also their interior and its amenities and there used to be some few former Japanese ships from Shin Nihonkai Ferry were sold here in my country back in the 90s and 2000s if i only i could experience to ride them back then but i wasn't even born at that time i wish i could ride one someday in Japan. Greetings from Philippines
Love the adventures, although they are very beautiful they are way out of my budget for sleeping. I will enjoy the vicarious travels for now. Thanks for the experience. Your videos are so enriching and peaceful 😊🌎💝
Here, a ferry is a barge you drive your car onto and sit in a cramped airport style waiting room, drinking bad vending machine coffee and hoping it goes by quickly. In Japan, apparently Ferry means cruise liner! These are amazing!
I just recently came across your videos. I enjoyed it very much. I feel like I'm with u during your travels. Very peaceful. Thank you for sharing with us during your journey.
Thank you for all your Videos from Japan i Love Japan 🙂 but i never can travel because i have Depression 😥 about 30 jears 😥 but with your wonderful Videos it feels like i am in Japan 👍🙂👍🙂thank you for this 🙋

I just subscribed to your channel a day or two ago and I'm really fascinated with your videos it makes me want to travel and explore Japan I even want to travel and see south Korea to I just got my passport a couple months ago but lack of money and covid it's hard
What a great travel video! The ferry from Hokkaido to Niigata is much nicer than many hotels in the States. I have been on ferries in Greece and Indonesia. They do not compare to the Japanese ferry: super clean, comfortable and many amenities. I love your channel.
Watching your videos has made me more and more to want to see your country in person - I cannot afford to but I feel I am there with you - that’s how wonderful your videos are - Thank you for sharing your beautiful country with us 😊👍💕💕
Kuga San I am an Indian and I one day I'll be visiting Japan and all of your videos are so informative that my confidence to travel alone in Japan has boosted a lot. Thanks and keep it up 🙏🙏

Please show me ☺️ kouya temple at wayayama of japan
If you can afford it
Cant wait to visit Mexico City. Mexico in general. A beautiful country drowning in culture as well. 🤙🏽
Cheers from Australia🇦🇺
Cheers from Armenia.. Hope to visit Japan soon.
I love Japanese interiors, so calming.
I only got here recently but quickly decided to stay. Your videos are something else. Very informative and fascinating. No voiceover makes them so relaxing! Cheers to you!
"The room is aesthetically pleasing" . . . welcome to Japan.
Your videos are like ASMR but for japan travel. Super cool

I love these vídeos. Perfect! I love japanese culture. Unique. An example Society.🇧🇷🇯🇵
Lately I've been enjoying a quite vlog than the casual once, it make me appreciate the things more.
Same reason why I love travelling alone. You can better immerse yourself with the atmosphere around you.
Kuga-san your videos are very Zen, I feel relaxed after watching. Thank you for your efforts. Long and happy life.

2:31 Halloween and Christmas, all in one package! What a neat (and efficient) decor LOL
Go beyond that.
Everything in Japan appears so pleasing. It's the first time I've ever wanted to travel by ferry.
Amazing. Japanese ferries are like cruise liners. loving it.
Better than cruises line
Stena Line between Hook of Holland and Harwich is pretty similar in many ways :) Though they don't have the Japanese-style decor, of course.
Hey kuga, i love all your videos it's just amazing how you show us about Japanese transportation, good job on making these videos 👍👍👍
Thank you for bringing us on another trip. The Japanese-style room seems very authentic. I enjoy it when you show your foods and describe the tastes, even for tea back in your room. I love how kuga focuses on pizza and other snacks and goes ahead and always orders authentic Japanese cuisine
Thank you Kuga-san for your beautiful videos.
You are a beautiful and pretty person.
All the best for your journeys.

yup, if i'm ever gonna ride a ferry in Japan, i'm gonna use this room.
It look super relaxing
このビデオが好きだ。love the videos dude. I appreciate the ambiance and hope you continue to make these.

You wouldn’t even guess the room was on a cruise ship on first glance
This video make me feel I travel in Japan. Thanks

Japan is so beautiful! I want to visit there soon!
How amazing to have a room like that inside a ferry! 😮
It looks very clean and comfortable! 😌
I would love to take a trip on that ship! 🙌🏼
Your public transportation system is so nice. Wish we had something like that here in the Philippines.
Thanks Kuga for another amazing video.
Floating, moving and very nice hotel, thank you for sharing
Ferry ride in Japan is now on my bucket list. Thank you always for sharing.
I would love to trace your travels when I get the chance to go to Japan. Carry on please, Kuga-san.
You're videos are amazing!! Keep up the great work! ありがとう ございます。
I am really enjoying your train and ferry videos. Thank you for the great content!
thank you very enjoyable.
I love how your videos really feel like you are taking us with you. You have a beautiful country. Greetings from America.
That's a really nice ship.
The carpet in the public areas is lovely. It is unusual to see a ship now with a vertical bow like that.
Yes - I thought it looked really old-fashioned.
Thank you for taking us along on your Ferry Trip! Great Video! Cheers from Alaska!
This was a fabulous video! Thank you so much for recording and posting!
帰国も難しい、旅行も出来ない今、旅の気分が味わえます。✨ありがとうございます。🎈
Wow. it looks so peaceful! I just came from another video where people are fighting about wearing masks, and was upset about that but your videos have put me completely at ease. Thank you for this. Greetings from Upstate NY, USA
Japan never fails to amuse me. I'll go there someday and try all of this. Much love from the Philippines!
Japanese passenger ferries are always interesting, and fun fact lots former Japanese ferries are also operating in Philippine waters even as of today
This was so cool! I want to try going on a ferry when I visit Japan someday.
