@@razan8524 it is amazing but you must make sure you do not wear short pants, it is too cold and also be careful when driving because it can be real foggy at random times, bring your jacket incase you feel cold, also if you’re visiting skytropolis don’t let any little kids go on it if they are too short, you must check the height checker if they are tall enough because if they are too short they will fall down the ride when it goes upside down. Enjoy your visit/stay at Genting, good luck!😉
You mean going to Genting Highlands in Nov? Take note Nov/Dec period will likely have higher rainfalls. Also take note Genting Skyworlds will likely be more crowded than usual when the school holidays begin.
They were not so strict on POV filming when the park initially opened but has since tightened the rules. Another way to film POV is to write in to get permission but it will be subject to approval on case by case basics.
You can book through Klook if you want. You can also book directly at Genting Skyworld website. The entrance fees are stated at Genting Skyworld website.

Yes it is possible if you visit during off peak days like weekdays without school holidays or public holidays. Weekends and long weekends will be challenging to complete in one day.
I was using GoPro chest mount, it was quite secured. However if someone uses handphone held in the hand, there is risk of dropping the handphone especially the faster rides.

Been there just 2 weeks ago. Half of the rides arent operasional. The ones that did still have technical problems. And the queue was very long and agonizing. Even a simple ride with no thrill will take up an hour to wait. Very dissapointed wont be coming back anytime soon
Independence Day is one of the more popular rides at Genting Skyworlds. Yes agreed, it will be really dramatic if there are heat wave, strong wind and water spray.
Just come back from Genting. Totally suck. My rating 2 out of 10. Might never go there antmore. Clear Sky but many attraction at outdoor just don't open. No reasons given. 1. Some rides must use their app to reserve, no reserve can't go in, they don't even allow us to queue, Paid money for ticket but can't go in to of the rides. Only children rides are open. No2, Food is very expensive, and 16% service charges. Nos3, they are trying to copy Singapore shopping experience. So what you see in Singapore Orchard is better than them. Malaysia Genting is dead. Spend your money on others country.
Thank you for your feedback. I went to check the apps, I can see Sid's Rock N Slide, Boot Camp and Terraform Tower do not operate today but the other 14 rides are still operating. However I do see some popular rides having a waiting time of 40 mins. Yes, some rides do need a Virtual Queue to reserve. When I was there, I was denied of taking Global Defender because the Virtual Queue slots on that day I visited were fully taken up.
Hi Aidil Asry, are you referring to the games at Asteroid Arcade in Central Park of Genting Skyworlds? There are kiosks near the game stations for you to register a card and top up credit to play the games. GeM card are also accepted.
As for the rides in Genting Skyworlds, no further payments required as the Genting Skyworlds admission ticket covers all the rides. Do note a few rides are not in operations during the soft opening period as stated in the Genting Skyworlds website.
From what I know, the rides required more maintenance compared to rides at theme parks located at sea level due to the cold and wet weather at Genting Highlands. I think it also depends on luck during this soft opening period. Sometimes the rides are down but on some days, the rides were mostly operational.

There is the Virtual Queue (VQ) system that comes with the tickets that allows ticket holders to book a time slot for some of the rides. There is no express pass ticket.
Sports shoes will be good. When it rains, you can wear raincoat or you can seek shelter in the souvenir shops. It will also be good to pre book the Virtual Queue using the Genting Skyworlds apps.

I went to Genting Skyworld twice, a few months apart. On my second trip to Genting Skyworlds, there were announcements at a few rides no photo and video during the ride. However on my first ride, it was fine to take photos and videos.

Rides scheduled for maintenance are stated in the Genting SkyWorlds website. You can also get status of the rides from the Genting SkyWorlds apps too. From what I know, most of the time the rides are working fine.
If you are going during non-peak period, mostly likely you can cover all rides in one day. However if you are going during school holidays, public holidays or weekends, it will be challenging to cover all the rides in one day.
i covered all the rides yesterday, it is best to have a big breakfast so you can experience all the rides while other people are taking a break during lunch. you would also need to download the app so you get to book multiple rides and skip the queuing line. then again, there weren't many people as i went yesterday.

I took the coach from KL Sentral to Awana Skyway and took the cable car up to the top. It was very good experience.

The orange coaster should be exciting as it involves both indoor and outdoor.

I love the old days 30 years ago when there was only a small park. It used to be so cold but not anymore too many buildings spoil the nature.

You are welcome! The Sid's Rock 'N' Slide is still better than the conventional viking rides as there is a rotating axis.
I still prefer the old theme park, the new one though new don't seem attractive for me to visit

The theme park was renamed to Genting SkyWorlds after a settlement between 20th Century Fox and The Walt Disney Company.

You only need to purchase the admission ticket. Once inside the Genting Skyworld, you do not need to pay for the rides.

Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park Fly & Play Combo ticket which includes cable car and entrance to theme park during the soft opening period is RM 163.
