We all have different opinions. Naturally, the pundits by virtue of being ex-footballers are hardly going to be the sharpest tools in the box typically. The hysteria about the 'failed TAA experiment' was as embarrassing as you suggest. Sure, he didn't have a great first 2 games in the role but then pretty much every Englishman was shit for the majority of most games of the games so far.
