I am making my GD
with tiles and scrolling
that will have 2.2 features
like Camera Rotation, Camera Shake Effect, Scale Trigger
and with many gamemodes and skins
and a level editor where you can add groups and stuff
with many tiles (blocks, spikes, decorations, orbs...)
and with triggers in editor (move, color, pulse, toggle, scale...)

@@Dragosgaming0110 Mirror portal is irrelevant, no one uses it in Real GD. I'd imagine no one will use it in Scratch GD too

Hey griffpatch! You probably aren’t going to see this, but I wish you could continue the platformer series! There is so many more things to do! One of the things I have been waiting for is water gameplay, as I have been confused on how to add it.
If you want gratis water i suggest studying boyancy, its the thing that wakes things floating and go up and down in water or something.
I am making a massive GD recreation using your tutorials but I've expanded it with Vaults, icon kits and more. To continue my expansion please make the next episode on a level select screen and multiple level pls :)

- Dual/Mini Modes
- In-Game Level Editor
- Icon Kit
- Main Levels (with music that syncs)
- More Orbs (purple, red, blue pads, purple, red, blue, black, green, spider and dash orbs)
- Settings for colorblind indicators on orbs and portals
- Level attempt count in Pusab font
- Level decorations
- Camera controls?
- Reverse orbs (right to left)

I have some suggestions on what you can do!
More pads & orbs. The green gravity portal, (Switches your gravity depending on if your upside down or not.) Other Gamemodes, Mirror Portals, Background & Ground Color Changing Triggers, And platformer mode!
I Hope There Will Be Tutorials About The other transformations like ball or wave!

I'm making GD with 2.2 features, with tiles, it has a normal mode where you always just go right and a platformer mode where you go where you want, It is still in process, my ideas are to add camera rotation, camera shake aeffect, triggers with groups in editor (move, color, pulse...)...

Hey griffpatch!, I wanted to ask you 2 big questions about this GD tutorial and the RPG tutorial, 1st. is it possible if you can add an In-Game editor to GD? (instead of making the scenes be built in costumes), and 2nd. Hey Griff I'm on episode 4 currently and to say the least everything is messed up... ever since episode 2 everything has been bugged out. First I was falling through the floor as soon as I started and didn't die after that I just immediately died after that when we added rotating my cube was rotating in place and after a few seconds it glitches out and starts sliding to the left but I kept copying you and a little after that everything was fine except for one thing... my cube doesn't move forward. It can rotate when I jump and the explosion works when I die and particles too but my cube just doesn't move. Can you help me?

Griffpatch, I think you should really consider tutorials for other game engines, I love your videos but a lot of you community would probably benefit from learning other game engines as well!! Also happy new year 🎆🎊
I'm not saying now or trying to be demanding but at some point could you do some tutorials for a different engine? I am currently learning Gamemaker studio 2 so a tutorial on that would be useful but I get not everyone knows that engine. Keep up your good work!
Also not sure if you plan to make the secret coins but if you do, drag GD Colon (Geometry Dash certified Coin Guy) into the fire and force him to suffer

Hello griffpatch, I have finish all the episode and adding my own things to my geometry dash! I have one question, is there a way to add animations (like particles in the jump pads and orbs and saws rotation) if so, how?

i think it would be good if you add more gamemodes (e.g, gravity ball, ufo, wave, robot, spider, swing, + mini mode) can also add the different kinds of orbs and pads

Something easy you could make is the gravity changer from 2.2. Its like the gravity portals but its green and when you hit it it switches what gravity you are

Do you think you can make a video on cloud saving without having to use a code? Like it’ll encode put it in the cloud variable and then decode it and see if your username is in the decode and put it into a list etc. etc. I’m probably just yapping at this point

However that may be a bit tricky so instead maybe you could add the UFO game mode from 1.5 I think, it’s like the cube but you can jump in the air, if you want to know how the physics works just note it was added in level 12 (theory of everything)
