I live in esslingen Germany. And esslingen ist the partner city to sheboygan. When I was a teenager I visited sheboygan 1982 with 30 other teens from Germany. It was a great adventure for us traveling to the USA.. We used to live in families, they showed us the city one day I visited with my family the Milwaukee brewers.. It was my first and last baseball game I ever saw, but it was great..
I spent 9 months in Sheboygan. I worked for a company in Watertown and I personally installed every piece of crown moulding in the Blue Harbor Resort. Long live Legend Larry!
Born and raised in Sheboygan since the 90s. I have to admit this is spot on. Left Sheboygan for almost 10 years, when I come back it’s like I never left. The ordinary-ness of Sheboygan is what makes it memorable. That Walmart creativity hits hard lmfao
Whatever this short film was for, you guys did a great job on it. I lived in Wisconsin for about 8 years during and after college. And I absolutely loved it. I love all those little Midwest towns. Including Sheboygan. Now back in Wyoming, I have many nostalgic nights where my thoughts wander back to warm sunny days with the seagulls on many of those lake Michigan towns I visited.
I was born in Sheboygan and so was my Sister, then we moved to Green Bay, then Pulaski..my Parents moved us out of Wisconsin when I was a kid and all these decades later I’m still upset about losing my friend Alisa Peterson..be cool if she sees this. Some day before I pass I need to go to Wisconsin one more time 😔 can’t afford the trip though..oh well I have my fond memories..
I’ve thought about making a video like this in the past. Sheboygan is the most boring town I’ve ever lived in, but something about it brought me back every time! Great video though
Thanks for this fantastic film! I live in Wisconsin, and I’ve never even bothered seeing this side of Sheboygan before. Some places may seem “boring” and “ordinary” to us. But in the end, there is beauty to them. One just needs to have an open mind to see it and appreciate it. There are interesting-fascinating places that may not require you to travel too far (or that may not require you to have a passport, or cross any borders). Sheboygan, Wisconsin, is one of them. Indeed, who knew? 🏄🏻♂️🛶🐿🎣
Let's go down by the lake in Sheboygan once, eh ? 🤪 I was born there and lived there until 2001... Get back for a visit every few years but it's also fun to see videos of home while I'm 700 miles away...
I know almost every single spot you shot this video in. Was raised in SheBangBang, miss it only a little bit. PS… I still have my surfboard and wet suit in my basement, BLATZ CREW.
Uma youtuber muito famosa no Brasil morava em sheboygan e foi ótimo encontrar esse vídeo hahaha legal conhecer a cidade através da perspectiva de nativos! Ótimo vídeo! 👍
THIS BAR IS ON 12TH-MICHIGAN AVE. THE BUILDING ONCE WAS MUCH LARGER, ALL APARTMENTS GOING WEST. I WAS BORN UP THERE. RIGHT ACROSS FROM CITY BAKERY. MY UNCLE MADE THE SHEBOYGAN HARD ROLLS!
@@u-5ee3zk1w that sucks they changed the recipe I used to live in sheboygan I was going to go as far as ordering them online so I could have them here in michigan
I love that pause, stop and head turn towards the camera on the slide my friend. 😂 I’ve lived my whole life in LA and can’t handle it anymore. It used to be great up until 15, 20 years ago. I’m old. I need normal homey and ordinary again. lA has turned into a cesspool of acceptable degeneracy. Way too many people and everyone is woke and agro now. I’ve googled explored Sheboygan so many times over the years. I’m ready for a visit. Can’t wait to see the Malibu of the mid west. 🌊
Glad someone likes Sheboygan. It actually sucks... And you left out the three places that make it actually worthwhile: Gaming Generations, The Game Board, and Freaktoyz
The number one thing I'd personally recommend to tourists: go to Sheboygan Family Restaurant at least once, you will not regret it. Absolutely best diner-style restaurant we have, great food for great prices 😤👌👌
@@memyself4431 actually, I was thinking more of Sheboygan Family in the south part of the city, near a Piggly Wiggly. Fountain Park Restaurant is most likely what you referred to, next to the actual Fountain Park. That one is also good, but I'd personally recommend Sheboygan Family more ^^;
That riverside restaurant was pretty good until they sold out to Sprecher. Yuk. Last I remember Sprecher went down the hole and probably sold out to someone else.

There's nothing quite like this place. Now I'm going to go to Esslingen
I visited Esslingen in 1992 as part of th P2P program and studied at Schelztor. What a great program! What a great city!
You saw a good Brewers' team in '82.
I pray I can someday visit your city as a german mixed myself and as a citizen of sheboygan.
This has got to be one of the best ordinary short films I've ever seen, thank you Gabe.

This video makes it look a bit more exciting than it really is.
Not everyone can handle the glamorous life Sheboygan has to offer. 😉
I used to think sheboygan was boring until I moved out to west virginia... now I miss it dearly :(
Well done - thanks!
Born and grew up in Sheboygan in the 80's and after all these years it still feels like home when I visit. Such an amazing placie.

We heard about 'Sheboygan, Who Knew?' at your graduation and I knew I had to see it. It did not disappoint. Well done!
that was a philosophic approach to town in general. Enjoyed it.

Sheboygan is my home born and raised. I will always love where I came from🔥🔥🔥
Yep, that’s what going to High school was like in Sheboygan, plus uh… another few recreational activities. Hole 13 and a half at Vollrath, anyone? 😉
Disc golf at The Quarry or at Vollrath is always a great option to add to all the excitement of Sheboygan
Fortunately my morning gummy kicked in as I watched this.
I am trying to decide where to go for vacation and this video has made me decide to do a stop here! I loved it!!
From Elgin. Have a soft spot for Sheboygan and you brought home how wonderfully average and special this town is to those who love it. Thanks!
Timeless, endearing, and so accurate. Always gonna come back to this video 🧡
Who knew?
Great vid!
I miss the old Prange store downtown.
I love how everyone agrees how boring Sheboygan is but everyone still loves it
Oh and absolutely amazing video in every aspect
What camera did you use? I love the filter and look of your video
Fun to watch! Born and raised here. But haven’t been back from quite a few years❤️
Will always be home. And it could not be said any better. Sheboygan... Who knew?
I live in New Jersey, idk why I’m watching this. Sheboygan is such an awesome word to say.
Thank you for stopping by! Always welcome.
My long time long, lost friend lived there. I hate that he passed away before I had a chance to visit.
Great job...I was born there and now work overseas.
👏👏 crazy good
But have you ever been so bored you drove from Sheboygan to Cheboygan and back all in the same day?

The Kenosha Kickers are HUGE here!
Very big in Sheboygan.
I love it Gabe!
A place I love with everything in my heart. So glad my grandmother came here from manitowoc years and years ago.
3:22 I lived above that bar back in 2014 lol
No mention of the history of the Brat, but that's okay. Nice vid!
I just watched this on Reddit...so well done, I love it. Cheers, friend.

Really awesome job on this! Thanks for sharing it!
Disc Golf Course at Vollrath Park. It's free, fun, and features Lake Michigan as a backdrop.

Thats Sheboygan, alright!
You missed the Weather Center Cafe!! That used to be our spot back in high school 🤙🏽
What a cute memory lol

Wonderful parks.
2.69$ a gallon, those were the days
I'm reporting from the future. It didn't get better.
Fun and goofy look at sheboygan.
yeah...very good and stuff😎
Great job.👏
This is great! However, you forgot one extremely important item: Sheboygan hardrolls!!!! I can't even believe it! :'(

And.....Sheboygan also has GameBoard!!!!
I live in Central Wisco but plan on moving to Sheboygan. Is that a good idea?
Yes. You won't regret it.
Chicken Joe started his surfing career here
Olive Garden
They tried to get an olive garden in but Herb Kohler rejected it because he said it would cut into his business deals. What f k r
Hell yeah Gabe
Chicken Joe!!
We are new to Sheboygen and we’ve been here for about 10 months it’s so boring to me and my twin that we don’t know what to do here
Then move
Go salmon fishing, hike the kettle moraine, go to a brewers game.
