The best exit point is when the price crosses the trend trader indicator. To get maximum pips. And it works best on 1 minutes chart. 5mins not to good but 1 minute is perfect. 9/10 won trades.

I made this into a script and alerts and did run it for e few days. On very volatile assets its winrate is lower then he says. You need to have clear up or down trends to have good winrate. When assets are going sideways you lose many trades. Im working on something to clear this out tho.

It looks as though you have Heikin Ashi candles turned on, which I did not hear mentioned. Unless I missed it. If you do use Heikin Ashi candles, then rather than limiting yourself to a 1:1 RR you can exit your trade when the outline and wick of the candles turns the opposite color for greater TP in most trade setups. To all the newbies out here, feel free to try all the youtube indicator videos you want and learn trading the hard way. Been there done that. That in the trade which is basically sell trade, in that trade when we enter and buy a 'put' the STC indicator turns green also (below) later but still we are in a sell trade till the target comes.. I've been trading for 10 years and this is my bread and butter strategy. I use it in addition to the Harsi indicator (heikin ashi + rsi). It works really well. I'm trying to figure out how to get an alert when the candle changes color. Any ideas? I watch multiple markets and it's tough to stare at the screen all day and wait.

They are not Heikin Ashi candles, they are normal candles that are re-colored by the trend trader indicator

To be fair if you stick to the EMA rules and have a tight af stop loss, this would get you 90% odd profit each time

Yes your only using it for entry, you have to decide when to take profit

You could try HA candles too ("smoother") and see if this works better for you than standard candles :)
