Sara, thanks for showing that lovely nail polish, it's now ordered and on the way. When I first saw that eye palette you purchased, I knew it wouldn't work without a shimmer. I think that the mauve shade should have been the one to gain that honour and make the look stand out. When you look at the shades of the Eye Crayons from the previous collection, they were definitely made to match both of these Quads. Maybe, that's where we were supposed to obtain the shimmer from? On our website, the look they showed was virtually the same like you had done, except they used the green just above the deep purple liner on the outer edge. The problem with these shades is that they cannot be blended together or they will just become muddy. It's a waste of a shade to only use as a tiny flick above the outer edge liner. Without fail, whenever purple is in a palette, you can bet that yellow of some kind will be added too, as they are complimentary colours. I know they were following the theme of the previous collection, but they need to make the shades capable of creating a cohesive look. I was tempted to buy a liquid lipstick, yet decided against it due to the amount of lipstick I have already. I think the upcoming Givenchy Eye Palette will be the one to suit you. The packaging on the lipsticks are something else! Try to play around with this Quad with the crayons you picked up and see how they can help make it wearable.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨
I think you are right. The skimmer from the stylos match it But it works also with the singelshadows. But i don’t like this palette at all. Most people that take a combination of the mustard and green look someone hit them and they got a bruise. Very few looks normal in this
The purple crayon shade looks beautiful with this palette. Even though that’s the case I still feel like Chanel could have chosen something different for this collection. Hoping they will wow us with the holiday collection
I like your look! This whole collection is a skip for me. Very odd color combinations that I will never wear. Also isnt this the 3rd time in a row they are giving us a purple eyeshadow and a purple mascara? They released in mono then the eyeshadow stick then the palette. We do not need that much purple :)
I am so glad you said what you said. I felt the same. I thought this collection was anything BUT fall/winter. That Shrek green and diarrhea mustard yellow were just so off to me. I did end up purchasing this for the purples since I did not pick up the purple single. I did enjoy the challenge of making it wearable. I was excited to see how you would use it since I love the looks you come up with.

Love it, those colors are edgy and interesting, the key is to use it sparingly, looks gorgeous on your dark eyes, I think you did a wonderful job

This purple mascara is better. I skipped the light purple of last collection, this one is darker almost black. Looks great and very sublte
Lavender and purple shades have entirely taken over this year 😅 I agree, by now we are over this trend
