- This is a re-upload of a previous version but wanted to edit it slightly better.
Many of you out there would remember this classic corner shop comedy Staring Ronnie Barker And David Jason and Lynda Barron? In the 1970-1980's, it's now back as "Still Open All Hours" with David Jason (Granvile) taking over the shop.
In this first of videos in this area I have gone through the hole of series 1 of The Arkwright Stutter under the leader ship with Ronnie Barker is Arkwright it was Glen Melvyn who portrade the Stutter, I loved how Granvile (David Jason) took the double take of Ronnie and had the last Laugh!

I don't know how some of the actors kept a straight face when he was stuttering, I'd have been in creases before he even started to speak 😂
I'm wondering that myself even went watching the program's to this day it still makes me LOL!

i used towork with a bloke who stuttered, he wasnt that bad normally but the more he got wound up the worse and more devastating he got. one bloke was ace at winding him up, iwalked into the room, saw themboth and had to walk out, i knew the devastation that would follow :D

@@areallybigannoyingorangefa6562 no. Back in the day when this show was made they would do a pilot episode which would be shown on tv when say an unexpected time slot and if the pilot is popular then it's made into an actual show.... So the pilot is a separate ep to ep 1
