I love Femme Individuelle, I had 2 bottles of it but I did not see it recently in my area shops. It reminds me of good old times.... Great video, Chris, you look fantastic!!! We use them for cakes, jam and very often for tzuika, a very strong drink that is recommended by local doctors for depression, over celebratory moods and hopeless love!!!!

Im so glad you mentioned this noone is talking about it.i have no idea why this one is so cheap the others in the line are alot more.the bottle is heavy the scent is awesome i never ever get compliments on my perfume and i got my first ever from a lady at the store with this one.im gonna get a back up bottle. Because once the word gets out ,the price will jack up im sure of it.

I'm a bit "difficult" when it comes to fragrance channels. I rarely stick to RUclips reviewers, at the moment follow just 3 for a while now - the rest I stopped watching because they just don't deliver/ do the same as everyone/are snobs/only show popular known stuff/bad descriptions etc. Would be great to have someone my own age in the mix and you might be it. I love that you include Arabic perfume houses and other more affordable gems you don't see everywhere. I have a few of the fragrances you recommended in both videos and know you might be on the same page taste wise, as well! I also like how calm and collected you are. Since I haven't seen recent videos yet I might ask sth you already do, but if you review new (to you or on the market) fragrances I would love to either get the one review that's based on actual use, OR if you smell it on a strip first to give an update from actual multiple use later. Use on skin, spread over multiple days/ weeks tells so so much more after all. If you do so: great! Last but not least: Thank you for putting the name on screen, as well as in the description box. That Mugler sounds amazing (jasmine 😍, oud, amber). I might end up blind buying 😮 and shipping it in as most local stores only carry the more popular Muglers (womanity, aura, alien and angel and their flankers). Maybe for Christmas? Valentine's? I was glad to see Femme Individuelle on your list. I owned it, decluttered it, missed it, and recently repurchased it. Your description of it as invigorating is spot on! There are several others here that I either bought while watching the video (Vanilla Musk, which I will use for layering) or put in my cart (Rogue and David Yurman Exotic Essence). I was just shopping for a bargain on Bottega Veneta and hadn't found a great price, so I think I'll grab that big bottle of Rogue instead. I may let David Yurman go, since it overlaps the scent profile of Rogue. Do you find them similar to one another? I really love lists like this because I am too frugal to buy niche!
Hi Paula! Rouge is a great bang for the buck and has a similar vibe to Bottega Veneta (a huge fav of mine). Not as well crafted and there is a noticeable plum note. But that huge bottle was like 22$ which is crazy!
So many wonderful scents here! Definitely have made notes to check some of them out. I just discovered Nemat a couple weeks ago. A friend religiously wears the Amber oil. I sniffed it and was impressed. I’m going to buy a few things from this line. Really curious about the Nag Champa oil. Awesome lineup. Great video!! ✌🏽🧜🏻♂️♥️

Hi Lisa!! I bought mine from Intense Oud. But most middle eastern fragrance houses have sites on Amazon (the only time I think it’s safe to purchase perfumes on Amazon…). Is with Middle Eastern fragrances. Often times the only way to get their product to the States. Otherwise I never purchase perfumes on Amazon….rife with fakes. Hi Claire! I’m still trying to figure out your taste. You love really strong fragrances (Alien) and freshies (the Moschino you just bought second hand) and gourmand (Want ) and sweet ambery woody fruity ones (5th avenue royale)….I’m not sure the Majestic Woods is a safe one for you. I would say at 50$ (I bought a tester for a few dollars less) it’s not a safe BB.
I had Bottega Veneta. I loved it but once i got reminded of Gillette shaving cream, i couldn't unsmell it 😟 curious about Rogue now tho. If it has some fruity notes aside from leather. I think Bottega veneta just had leather, vetiver, amber and a fee other notes. No fruity nuances
Miroir de Majeste is on my list now 👍😍 is it really similar to the Xerjoff 1888? I always wanted to buy this, but I'm afraid it could be too masculin 🤔😅
Could you suggest something comparable to Stella. It was also my Fav for many years now I cannot find anymore than a rollerball unless it’s 2-300 bottle on eBay. I will not purchase from eBay nor can I see myself spending so much on that particular perfume.
Oh wow what a bummer. I bought another bottle maybe spring of last year….easy and inexpensive to get. The closest thing I would think is the EDT which IMO, is more musky and less sweet/ambery. The reason I love Stella is because it is a different rose. Don’t you hate it when something you love gets discontinued. But alas…..there are more fish in the ocean. 😉💕
5th ave royale and LPRN black perfecto was in my basket for many weeks, I was about to checkout when I thought of trying bottega venetta first if I like it. But all I could smell is strong leather just like Rihanna Rogue. I couldn’t even distinguish the other notes, so I didn’t buy those 2 in my cart ‘cause I might end up hating them. My question is…are they (royale and black perfecto) the same as rogue and BV?
Oh boy. If you didn’t like the suede/leather in BG or Rouge you will hate LPRN. Stronger leather than either. Also the leather in 5th Avenue royale is strong and smoky at first so that’s not safe for you either.
Hmm. I personally love it…but I know how you love your powerhouse long lasting fragrances and Imperial Saphir isn’t that. Maybe not the best choice for you my dear . 😉❤️

I just found you, do you have a video that explains some of the terminology? For instance you mentioned “oud” and “animalic” and I sort of have a sense of oud but not animalic.
Hi Kara! I’m glad you found me thank you. Oud is a resin (basically the goo) that forms on certain trees when they get infected. It is made into essential oil and imparts a woody or smoky scent. It can be mild but in some forms, can literally smell like a barn or um…..the stuff found on the floor of a barn. So in some instances can smell like doo doo. So anything that smells like an animal is termed animalic, be it the leather, fur, or even urine or poop. Yes. It’s graphic. 😂

I was glad to see Femme Individuelle on your list. I owned it, decluttered it, missed it, and recently repurchased it. Your description of it as invigorating is spot on! There are several others here that I either bought while watching the video (Vanilla Musk, which I will use for layering) or put in my cart (Rogue and David Yurman Exotic Essence). I was just shopping for a bargain on Bottega Veneta and hadn't found a great price, so I think I'll grab that big bottle of Rogue instead. I may let David Yurman go, since it overlaps the scent profile of Rogue. Do you find them similar to one another?

Hi Paula! Rouge is a great bang for the buck and has a similar vibe to Bottega Veneta (a huge fav of mine). Not as well crafted and there is a noticeable plum note. But that huge bottle was like 22$ which is crazy!
David Yurman is nice!!! But doesn’t have great longevity….

Hi Lisa!! I bought mine from Intense Oud. But most middle eastern fragrance houses have sites on Amazon (the only time I think it’s safe to purchase perfumes on Amazon…). Is with Middle Eastern fragrances. Often times the only way to get their product to the States. Otherwise I never purchase perfumes on Amazon….rife with fakes. Hi Chris, I received my chopard las week and I loved it, unfortunately didn’t last long enough in my skin. I really like the JC bottle but those perfumes in my opinion smell not very well. Great review for the other fragrances. ❤️❤️

You love really strong fragrances (Alien) and freshies (the Moschino you just bought second hand) and gourmand (Want ) and sweet ambery woody fruity ones (5th avenue royale)….I’m not sure the Majestic Woods is a safe one for you. I would say at 50$ (I bought a tester for a few dollars less) it’s not a safe BB.
Rihanna however…4.2 ounces for 22$…..that’s pretty darn awesome. Have you ever sniffed the original Bottega Veneta?

I had Bottega Veneta. I loved it but once i got reminded of Gillette shaving cream, i couldn't unsmell it 😟 curious about Rogue now tho. If it has some fruity notes aside from leather. I think Bottega veneta just had leather, vetiver, amber and a fee other notes. No fruity nuances

Could you suggest something comparable to Stella. It was also my Fav for many years now I cannot find anymore than a rollerball unless it’s 2-300 bottle on eBay. I will not purchase from eBay nor can I see myself spending so much on that particular perfume.
Oh wow what a bummer. I bought another bottle maybe spring of last year….easy and inexpensive to get. The closest thing I would think is the EDT which IMO, is more musky and less sweet/ambery. The reason I love Stella is because it is a different rose. Don’t you hate it when something you love gets discontinued. But alas…..there are more fish in the ocean. 😉💕

5th ave royale and LPRN black perfecto was in my basket for many weeks, I was about to checkout when I thought of trying bottega venetta first if I like it. But all I could smell is strong leather just like Rihanna Rogue. I couldn’t even distinguish the other notes, so I didn’t buy those 2 in my cart ‘cause I might end up hating them. My question is…are they (royale and black perfecto) the same as rogue and BV?
Oh boy. If you didn’t like the suede/leather in BG or Rouge you will hate LPRN. Stronger leather than either. Also the leather in 5th Avenue royale is strong and smoky at first so that’s not safe for you either.

I just found you, do you have a video that explains some of the terminology? For instance you mentioned “oud” and “animalic” and I sort of have a sense of oud but not animalic.
Hi Kara! I’m glad you found me thank you. Oud is a resin (basically the goo) that forms on certain trees when they get infected. It is made into essential oil and imparts a woody or smoky scent. It can be mild but in some forms, can literally smell like a barn or um…..the stuff found on the floor of a barn. So in some instances can smell like doo doo. So anything that smells like an animal is termed animalic, be it the leather, fur, or even urine or poop. Yes. It’s graphic. 😂
