Thank you so much for the videos. I wish I have watched it long time ago, when I started Learning Spanish. Now That I already know the conjugation for the subjunctive it is easy to understand because to form the imperative we are using the subjunctive form of the verb.
These lessons of Imperative moods in both most common regular and irregular verbs are super excellent! Thank you, Andrea for the super excellent teachings and the most appreciated downloads!

A simplified way to remember these Irregular Verbs is: Remember before adding the imperative endings to the usted form to change to the yo form then add your imperative endings. So, salgo changes salga for usted, vengo changes to venga, digo changes to diga, hago changes to haga, pongo changes to ponga, and tengo changes to tenga. For ustedes just add the -n. Example: salgan, vengan, digan, hagan, pongan, & tengan. For the negative just add no before the usted or ustedes form: no venga, no vegan. For the tú form of the imperative, the irregular verbs can be broken into two groups. The 1st group: salir, venir, poner, tener, if you remove the infinitive endings you are left with the root of the verb which just happens to be the irregular imperative for tú: sal, ven, pon, ten. If you use the usted imperative form for the same verbs plus diga and remove the -ga ending you get: sal, ven, pon, ten, and di. That just leaves two you really need to memorize: Hacer which becomes 'haz', and Ir which becomes 've'. For the negative tú imperative, as Andrea said, you just take the usted imperative and a 's' at the end and use 'no' before the verb: no salgas, no vengas, no pongas, no tengas, no digas, no hagas, no vayas. There is one very irregular verb for the usted form: vaya. The rest follow the yo form with the imperative endings after the -o is dropped.
Hi John! Several people have asked for the nosotros and vosotros to be included. Definitely noted. We are working on our video requests, thank you for yours!
Muchas gracias! Can you make a part 3 video with the imperative for regular -IR verbs and perhaps a part 4 with stem-changing verbs? (like dormir, pensar). Also I always have difficulty with the verbs reir and sonreir in nearly every verb tense. Are those regular verbs or irregular?
Hola. Con mucho gusto! Sure, I will put that in my videos to do list. Yes, reir and sonreir are irregular verbs.
