Just don't eat with a headset on in general. As some one who works at a call center and plays multiplayer games it's annoying and a somewhat asshole move when calling into a call log.
One thing alot of people tend to do that they shouldn't (seriously wish I had a dollar for every time I saw this) is they ask for in-game currencies (money, gold, credits, etc). Commonly referred to as "Gold Beggers" or "Gold Begging", since it originated in fantasy mmo's. Been a gamer since 1983, so I know it can really suck to be new in an online game and not have much to start off with, but people need to just stop begging and learn to play the game. It only makes sense to have very little upon first starting any game, because after all, you're new for crying out loud.
Going after someone in real life over something happening in a game is seriously messed up. I wonder what goes on in the minds of such people that they think that doing so is a viable option.
@@WhirlingMusic I was playing a game one time and heard a guy cloak, then I found where he was and shot him, while he was still cloaked. The guy then accused me of cheating, I just told him he was quite noisy and went on my way.

I'm like, between being good and being a noob in GTA. I've got a business and a bunker, houses, and vehicles, but I still suck at using my weapons and doing missions. EDIT: Gotta add this because some people have mistaken how I've made my earnings in GTA Online. So, continuing from above: Granted, I screw around far more than I do missions. Reckless driving and random homicides are so much fun in the GTA engine.
I guess it depends how you define “screwing with you”. I don’t ever deliberately try to annoy someone who is being nice or neutral. I have goofed and done something dumb a couple times lol.
Smurfing, camping, spawn-killing, stream-sniping, playing as a cheap character, etc. you sure as hell reminded me of one of the main reasons I prefer single-player games
Playing as a cheap character? If it's in the game, it's the devs intention that it will be used. It's no one's fault if you feel butt hurt because of it.
@@kenzer1614 If the character is cheap enough to even make noobs dominate (Gon in Tekken 3 and Shao Kahn in the early MK games), it's a serious tilt on the roster. There's no denying that. One of the main factors in multiplayer games is balancing, meaning to make the playing field as even as possible, and the devs clearly failed in that with cheap characters being playable.
They made a game around that concept though, "screen cheat" (4-player split scrren multiplayer fps), because the characters/players are invisible, the only way you can know where someone is, is by looking at their portion of the screen
@@518ashtray the only fighting game I've ever been good at was smash Bros on GameCube and Wii. Every other fighting game honestly doesn't keep me interested long enough. Injustice came closest. Shooters I used to be extremely good at but I always play RPGs so I probably suck at FPS gam s now.
Eli brown, you ARE the problem. Microtransactions are going to cause another video game crash, and I'm not talking about real expansions that provide real value. Loot boxes have gotten so out of hand that whole governments have stepped in and said, "You guys need to stop." Don't drop that quarter. Just don't do it.
Ah yes, false reporting. I was in the top 10 on the leaderboard of UFC 3 on Xbox One for almost a year. I never cheated or even messaged people, but my account was temp banned twice for cheating and permanently banned for supposed "excessive greifing/trolling." I got the ban overturned after 3 weeks of back and forth with EA and Microsoft customer service. Now I'm afraid to even play the damn game so I had to make a 2nd account for it. It's ridiculous that you can be punished for simply being good at a game.

I was playing destiny 2, and I was new like had just started that day and was not too great at it. So a guy had agreed to help me learn how to do strikes and stuff like that. But in the middle of on the things, that was literally just me and him against a bunch of enemies, he left me alone in it and I had to complete it by myself when I didn't know how to. So it took me like two hours to finally figure out what I was supposed to do, fight every single enemy by myself and not die while doing it, and beat the boss that wasn't designed to be beaten by just one person. So I had to constantly go and hide before my health ran out, so I would get like a couple of hits in then hide. It was actually really rude and I was just so offended by it and he literally messaged me later and said "sorry you wasn't doing good enough so I joined my friends instead" Honestly I was kinda hurt, like boy I beat that shit by myself in then end without dying so fuck you 😂
EA games are good The problem is spamming in your screen loot boxes and microtransactions Just like Gameloft but atleast EA let the players who doesnt pay anything (except for the game) to play Not like Gameloft , if you need only 3 coins or whatever you need to pay 99.9$

2:50 Finch was not a gamer. Finch was an otherwise uninvolved party whose address was given to Bariss by the other party. Yeah, just making sure you know this. Also, this shit happened not far from me... 7:33 You usually mention the offline interruption caveat, surprised you didn't this time... Aim Assists for the lesser able (due to disabilities) should never be a topic of contention, but I've heard of corporations issuing bans for those players as well. That right there, is a litigation minefield. Game corporations, don't harm your player base in this way. Assist tools are designed with the lesser able in mind and are hardware level things. Aiming, input, among many other things. There's no reason that the lesser able players should have to deal with corporate idiots, same as DRM should not exist for the original DOOM games, or really, exist at all. Yeah, fuck DRM and fuck greed.
This is one point where you should just say disabled when you mean it, rather than "lesser able" . "Lesser able" sounds like someone who is just bad at playing. Disabled is some who will be effectively unable to play the game without some kind of assist. If you say "aim assist is ok for less able players" it's indistinguishable from "aim assist is ok for bad players".

I bought a modded 360 controller and used the modded part of the controller once in a live game and never used it again. Took the fun out of the game honestly.
A similar thing to the laughing at noobs one is just being an elitist snob about people's avatars, their gear, skins, or level. Basically looking down on people who spent less time or money on the game than you, or have "worse" taste. It's really condescending and asinine. Specifically, I made my avatar look like myself in Second Life, and everyone made fun of me because I didn't look like an 8 foot tall, jacked, European Gigolo with leather pants. The lack of etiquette has nothing to do with gamers being gamers, and has everything to do with people being people. Online gaming was once a niche, and did have etiquette. An etiquette that was enforced by the community, until gaming became mainstream and the general population, that didn't know about this etiquette, flooded into online gaming. Suddenly hundreds of thousands of people participating in online gaming didn't see anything wrong with sabotaging other peoples gaming experiences to enrich their own. I do remember a time not that long ago when the type of people listed here were not tolerated by anyone.
#3 #2 #1 Number 1 is pretty much the thing that pisses me off the most. especially when one person, yes one person is capable of ruining the entire game for multiple people. also those who don't have integrity and use cheap methods/characters/moves/glitches/exploits/talk shit in the mic after a victory should get kicked so hard in the stomach.

Assist tools are designed with the lesser able in mind and are hardware level things. Aiming, input, among many other things. There's no reason that the lesser able players should have to deal with corporate idiots, same as DRM should not exist for the original DOOM games, or really, exist at all. This is one point where you should just say disabled when you mean it, rather than "lesser able" . "Lesser able" sounds like someone who is just bad at playing.
