    Chain tacks are one of those things that you do not see but you sure notice when they are not there.
    If you have ever had your lining ride up in a skirt or pulled you arm out of a coat and had the lining pull out and drag half the sleeve inside out, then your garment was likely missing a chain tack.
    Today I am going to show you the easiest way I know how to sew a chain tack.

    Just found you recently and subscribed. Thanks for posting normal things. Cosplay and historical reconstruction is fun but not much help for the everyday sewist. I am trying to relearn to sew after kids are grown and I am really enjoying your posts.

    You can also us this technique for belt loops on narrow belts. Get tutorial!
