So glad that you posted and that you are back! Everyone needs a break sometimes to get excited about creating. Thank goodness your family are well especially your hubs and his donor. Looking forward to seeing your crafting journeys.
We are so twins... but I'm north of you in AB ;). My husband has polycystic kidney disease, in check for now, but looking at dialysis in near future. I wanted to make a pizza oven on an exercise ball over the winter and my husband bought me a portable one for Christmas (he wasn't into that mess). Now will work on making a base for it by our firepit. Sewing can fit into all sorts of content. Your boat is going to need some padded seats, and your refurbished windows are going to need some curtains. I've gotten into gardening and growing all from seed including annual flowers and now have a lime tree indoors. I think we makers just always want to have something cooking on the burner, and plans on the plate. You do you, because you are a person running this channel, and not a television corporation. Support.
I'm a new chicken mamma and I have learned a LOT over the last year. I also DIY my own chicken coop. There are some things I did right and some I would change if I were to do it again. I LOVE my chickens though and am so glad I have them. You will too. I too do everything from scratch. I don't ask where can I buy that, but how can I make it. I like that "cottage in the city". I am more interested in DIY projects than sewing even (though I can't say I'm interested in building a boat).
I think it would be great to see other crafts and lifestyle stuff. I love doing different things also and kinda flip flop from baking, sewing, painting, gardening, and this list goes on so I would love that. Have a great day :)
Happy new year to you and all your family. So glad you are OK. So glad for your husband and his donor. I have loved your channel since I found it last year. Don't be a slave to the algorithm. If you link things, we will come! Lol we are creative people. We understand that creativity is absolutely NOT linear... We meander. You meander. If you film, we meander together. If RUclips doesn't pimp you out enough, show us where to go. I have many hobbies, few areas of expertise that lend to so many other things. And I probably just described mostly everyone here! 😅 Do what you gotta do.
My first thought is you do you... I am up for what ever you want to share... then... I am sooo sorry I missed missing you... things are crazy here n thru the holidays... well you get it... so glad things are looking up for your husband's health n home school sounds like a good choice... life is life so as we settle into a new year things we'll be good n even better... glad you are back but do not stress I for one will be glad to see you when you can... sending blessings...
Hello Stephanie, I'm sure whatever you decide to film will be a big success. Glad your immediate family is doing well. Sorry to hear about your loss. Life is bittersweet. Good luck with your job search, I certainly understand what that is like🥰
Lovely to catch up with you again. It'll be great to see more of your sewing videos and the creativity vlogs will be fun. But don't forget you're supposed to enjoy the experience too,. Don't over commit yourself and just post what and when you can. All the best to you and your family for the coming year.
Your are so right Johanna. That's why the other channel is only an idea that I will do if I can. Making these videos really does fill my bucket. And as I learned this past year I can take a break when I need it. Thanks so much for your support.
Seewww happy to see you again this morning! I didn’t want to cyber stalk you but there a few others that just disappeared and have not come back. A simple Hay! I’m still alive, would be so appreciated!! So thank you for yours! 💕💕 And for the record we don’t all listen to every video just for the sewing content. It’s a little like having morning tea with a friend! You just don’t hear our side of the conversation. That said, I would for sure follow a vlog about whatever you’re doing! Your wit and sense of humor are a bright spot in the gloom! So thank your fam and friends for sharing you with us! Keep smiling and scream off camera whenever you need to! It’s good for warming up the vocals. 😜
I am so happy that you posted this video! I really only found your channel quite recently, and although I have watched some of your older videos, I was regularly checking to see if you had posted anything new. I have an adult daughter who has 4 small kids and a full-time job teaching at a university. I know how tough it can be to balance all the things we expect of ourselves in life. Give yourself grace for prioritizing your tasks and knowing you are not able to do everything you would like to do. That said, I look forward to seeing any new content you post. I am most interested in your sewing content right now, but I would also watch some other content you might present on a vlogging channel because even though I do not want to build a boat or keep chickens, I know there will be other topics I am interested in. I hope that 2022 brings you much fulfillment and joy! Thank you for sharing yourself in this way!
Hi Stephanie. I just found you today when searching how to do a rolled hem. I bought my broad-shouldered, but somewhat height challenged father a denim shirt for Christmas. It was perfect except for being far too long, and I wanted to be able to hem it as it came. Anyway, i wanted to say I am enjoying your videos a lot, but also that several RUclipsrs I subscribe to, mostly gardening, organizing and lifestyle channels, have said much the same as you, that they are feeling a bit overwhelmed by the demands and need to take a break, so you definitely are not alone. I think the saying is true that you can't pour from an empty cup, so take care of yourself and your fans will be here when you have the time, energy and inclination. Thanks for all you share. Best wishes, Laura.
I have been wondering about you and hoping you and your family were well. So I was very happy to see you back today. Don’t feel bad about taking time off. Looking forward to more of your vlogs when you are able to post. Seeing logs on some of your other inters would be fun but don’t take on too much your family is more important!
Good to see you again and good to hear that your family is well! I think your plan for biweekly videos and a second channel sounds great. I look forward to it. Take care!
I love the idea that you would include all sorts of creative content. I look forward to seeing that. As for your life, grateful that you are making it through and praying for your family.
Lovely to see you back! Personally I would love to hear about your other crafts. I make my own soap and household cleaning products, so I'm always keen to hear about other recipes and methods of making things like that. Other crafts are so cool!
Good for you Mairead. I must confess one of the reasons I would love to do that other channel is to see all the other tips, tricks and recipes that people would post Inn the comments❤️
Hi!!!! You have been sew missed!!!! I’m glad to have you back every other week,,, I’ve had a rough time lately also. Happy New Year and yes! Let’s do have a good year!!!!
Thank you for sharing. We have all been through it in our own way. Glad to know you cut yourself a break here - at least. Definitely keep this as a happy place. Appreciate the motivation as well. Time for me to get moving. 😘
Hi Stephanie! So happy your hubbie and donor are on the road to health. What a roller coaster you've been on. Don't apologize for anything. You have provided free informative content that we are all grateful for. You just take care of yourself and your family. I will be happy to watch anything you put together because it's all great. Lots of hugs and hope this month things start to get a bit easier for you. 🤗
Hey there! So happy to see you!!! Gah, you've had a particularly rough year. Sorry to hear about your losses and work, but over the moon to hear your husband and his donor are on the mend. Regardless of what your video schedule is, I'll be here to watch you be you. Cheers to a better 2022!
Happy New Year - I took a break from sewing the last few months of the year and was literally just re-watching your awesome FBA video. Stay safe and healthy, best of 2022 to you and your family.
I enjoy your videos. They are straight forward and chock full of useful bits. Happy you and yours are well, and happy to see you back. So good luck with the Steph's World content, and if you post it I will watch.😊
I've just subscribed to your channel. I'm so glad I found you! I'm so sorry for the losses you've had. ♥️ I am glad to hear you are recovered and husband is doing well. What a challenging time you've been through! Taking your time to make changes and adjust, is healthy.
Good luck with everything! Hopefully life slows down/ gets back to normal soon, so we can get back to life as it used to be (if possible). Hopefully things will work out for the better/ our good. Don't give up hope! Things will get better! I believe in you! You can do hard things! Just don't push yourself too hard! Believe in the me that believes in you! You can do it! Remember, success comes in "cans!" Make sure to do your best and forget the rest! Have a super fantastic day!
I've often wondered why youtubers just disappear without even, oh I don't know, a sentence like, not doing great, gonna take a couple months off? You know, like basic manners? Like not rude? That being said. let's talk ab
Happy new year, but really...you have to talk on video for 10min about why you need a break🙄, I think this RUclips thing is way too demanding on people.really...real life is more important then the concerned few...we undersrand
I appreciate your sentiments that people can make their commitment to RUclips and social media way too far. That said, I do have some ride it die viewers that I've gotten quite friendly with on the contents sections of my videos. And those folks who were teaching out were doing it with such kindness and compassion, I wanted to respond in kind. Also I wanted to announce channel changes get feedback on another channel idea. This was the best way to do that. Thanks for watching. Have a great 2022❤️

I am here for your boat-making journey! In all seriousness though, upload whatever video you like be it cooking and gardening. :)
Thanks Celine ❤️
2nd channel for non-sewing content sounds great to me! I would follow.
Thanks Lisa ❤️

I totally get that. I have so many crafts that are seasonal or they just have an ebb and flow.
