One correction: The head cushion goes into the second row of slits of the newborn cushion pad, the uppermost first row of slits are for the shoulder straps. That way the baby is more comfortable and secure. [Reference: Page 128 of the User Guide]
Both are fine iinm. The official video showing it going through the second row of slits. I guess you will need to make it through the fastener at the bottom before going through the slits. I guess it depends on the size of baby. Cheers🎉
Thank you! Your video showed me that I just bought a used Newborn Pack that must be the/original version. It's impossible! The main buckle is different and not round. Once latched, it takes great difficulty to unlatch it. I can see why they changed it...and then again as I found another video with a different center latch that's round, but even larger! And there are 2 zippers on my winter cover that are also difficult. The time it would take to buckle an infant in would be ridiculous. So I'm out the money spent on a worthless old version. Had I only known....Live. learn. But your video is super! I'll use it when I buy a brand new one from a store!
@@CluelessDad There are 2 boards in the bottom part of the Newborn Pack. I removed them to wash all the fabrics but not 100% sure I've reinstalled them correctly. One is solid and the other has a 2-piece attached floopy end. Hard to explain but I'm wondering if yours has the 2 boards (they go in via velcro pouches at either end. I think the board with the floppy end goes into the bottom part of the Pack (opposite the canopy end). Tks if you can take a gander.
Helpful video. A small comment - the instructions say that the head pillow goes in the same holes as the shoulder straps. I think this makes more sense unless your baby has a strangely long neck.
Have you/Do you know if you can wash ALL of the pieces that come in the 0+ pack? I see that it says machine washable on all three pieces, and that makes sense seeing two of them (let’s call them step 2 and 3) but is the base part really washable? The part that has the umbrella/canopy bit? I feel nervous shoving that big piece in my washing machine. Many thanks!
It's 2 years later but for those, like me, reading all the comments much later, I'll answer! YES all the parts can be machine-washed and air-dried. Use cool water only. It takes days for it to drip dry however. There is a removable wire in the canopy so be sure to take that off b4 washing. And the padded cushion that goes on top of the bottom section has 2 removable hard boards. Be sure to remove those. (I have an older version so I'm not positive the newer Newborn Packs (3 versions now) have the same boards. Gotta feel around a bit to find the sort of envelope where the boards slide in. They fit quite snug. And be sure to take a photo of the board placement while removing them as I'm here to try to find out which board goes where. There is no mention of these removable boards anywhere online & I question whether the (horrible) Babyzen instructions even mention them.
Hi. Would you happen to know how to change Babyzen Yoyo front wheel unit? Not the actual ball-bearing but the unit. I purchased one and spent days trying to replace it but can’t seem to work it out. I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.
Thanks very informative! Do you know if any version of the newborn pack (yoyo/yoyo2/etc) goes with the yoyo+ chassis? Are these accessory compatible with earlier/older versions?
they should be specific for each chassis.... some of the accessories probably fit, but I haven't checked each one. Double check the official website to be safe.
Hey, so with this 0+ newborn pack stroller, I dont need to buy a bassinet? And can u carry it separately. Im thinking of getting a convertible car seat that stays on the car but then still need some sort of thing to carry baby in/out of doc appts etc
They have a "YOYO with Bassinet" version now, that can snap in a removable basket to carry your baby in, as you describe. Also they have a YOYO car seat, that can snap in to an adapter that will fit on either the 0+ or 6+ version of the stroller. check it out on their website.
comes with everything. (they also sell a car seat and an adapter for that that snaps onto the existing frame, but the 0+ pack shown in this video has everything to put it on the frame (either a new one or when converting from a 6+)
ah, there IS also another adapter on the newer models (YoYo2), they have a "basinet" version (removable baby cot w/ a handle), that does have an adapter too. (its different from the 0+ built-in seat and canopy....)
They made an adapter which certain popular 'travel system' seats can click into. It basically mates your removable car seat to the frame of the yoyo+/yoyo2 - Compatible car seats for YOYO²: BeSafe iZi Go Modular X1, Cybex Cloud Z, Cybex Aton Q and Bebe Confort / Maxi Cosi Pebbe Pro (all available separately) Compatible car seats for YOYO+: BeSafe iZi Go Modular, BeSafe iZi Go X1, Bebe Confort / Maxi Cosi Pebble+, Bebe Confort / Maxi Cosi Pebble and Cybex Aton Q (all available separately)
Do I still need to buy the newborn pack or 6+ is okay for a newborn ? Im reconsidering it because we live here in UAE and im gonna deliver my baby this coming June , and its summer here .
with newborns you're supposed to be careful about sitting them up, as they lack the neck strength. so I think with 6+, even if its all the way down,, there's no head support (padded pillow) that you have on the 0+. the fact that the same frame works for both versions is one of the benefits of this stroller, and they're not /that/ expensive. So I'd consider getting both and just switching after 6 months. maybe you can sell the 0+ month version after you're done with it and get the investment back.
Hi, you know of the newborn pack from yoyo2 fits the yoyo+?
apparently it does - "YOYO bassinet attaches to YOYO² and YOYO+ using the included adapters."
Great video. Way better than the official babyzen explainer. Thanks so much for making this!
From one clueless dad to another, thx for posting this! Super helpful

Life saver! Would have taken an age to figure allthat out! Nicely done!
Great video explaining how to assemble the Babyzen YOYO including the zero year bassinet! Very helpful indeed, thank you!

Thank you 🙏
This was super helpful for a newbie dad to be. Life saver!
Glad to hear!
Thanks man. Bought it off of eBay and didn't have the manual. Couldn't have done it without you! Cheers

Which one you recommended for 5 month old? We are already too small for 0+ but we are not 6 months yet
Is the whole canopy machine washable?
yes but take out the canopy wire first.

Very good video 👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you for this - incredibly useful.

It really helped me this morning ! Thank you !
Glad it helped!
Hello. Does everything come with it or do I need to purchase an adaptor to install the newborn pack on the stroller?

I have old model of Yoyo babyzen stroller, first generation. Is it possible install a car seat on it?
@@ic4566 looks like maybe no. i've seen adapters listed as only being compatible with the yoyo+ and yoyo2.
@@ic4566 at least places like this - www.justkidsthings.co.uk/babyzen-yoyo-accessories/768-babyzen-yoyo-car-seat-adaptors

Awesome ! Your video its very helpful.
Many Thanks 👍🏽
Is the canopy 6+ same with new born pack?
no, its a different shape and doesn't have the window at the back (or the pocket in the back).
Ty
Does anyone know if it can sit up a little or it’s only for lying down?
Only flat - for this 0+ version.
Thanks!!
Is 6+ comfortable for baby who is 6+ month for sleeping
sorry for my late reply. 6+ seems pretty good for sleeping... Our kid out-grew the 0+ very quickly.
Omg thanks so much
Thanks
Thanks for this
