At first I thought he was turning the crank on a Hurdygurdy, and kept searching, then realized he was just mimicing the movement of those old trains and the wheels turning. No telling how many instruments he's got going, especially with his musical utility belt. He's the Batman of insanely talented musicians.

He is using diatonic harmonicas, they are tuned to specific keys, therefore their are 12 different keys plus high and low tunings as well as alternate tunings like country tuned, harmonic minor, natural minor and more. That's just diatonic harmonicas. Then their are tremelo harmonicas, chromatic harmonicas and more :)
