The cat being the most perfect rendition of a cat!!
It's been a while since I watched some of your videos. Thank you for showing the "no knot" method. I kept thinking it was done on the back. I got so frustrated doing that and went back to knots. This helped. Also, I have never done stamped either. I am still new, of course.
My cat did exactly the same :))))) Cats are just cats, always!
Best most real stitching! I can't stitch without a flood involved at home!
Right?! It's always something!
I start at the back rather than the front and hide tail end on back side. Your cat is so cute. My chihuahua used to always sit on my lap, but he passed on recently and I feel so lost without him. Your kitty is just so happy to be near you it warmed my heart ♥️.
Thank you! Unfortunately this sweet guy did pass away and I had to take a break from stitching and filming. But it makes me love this video even more! ❤️
@@StitchWithMeDaily so sorry 😞
Love your little helper 😊
Thank you ma’am 😊
He wants to be a star..🤣🤣🤣🤣 real life. 🐈🐈🐈🐈
They rarely use DMC floss in Chinese kits, especially in those with stamped fabric 🙂 DMC palette is used just as reference in case you run out of threads. Usually they put in the kits synthetic threads. So far I know just one seller from China that uses in the kits 100% cotton floss (Rosace), but they still put DMC threads in the key as reference. Of course their kits are a bit more expensive and they don't provide stamped fabric. 🙂
In my experience with similar kits, sewing method gets easier the more you handle because of manipulation. Also I use sewing method predominately. I do like the kits. I haven't run out of floss doing any of mine.
Edit to add: I had to tale edges with masking tape to prevent fraying.
That's good to know. I have considered if I needed to tape. I might just do that to make sure I don't get fraying. Thanks for the tip!
Hi there thanks for the fab video I found it very therapeutic. Please can you answer a question for me, I have purchased one like this from Amazon and there is a key that shows French knot 1/4 stitch etc but I cannot see on the tapestry anything that indicates these. Is the pattern purely cross stitch? Or are there other stitches on the pattern? So many thanks in advance x
What's my cat doing in your video? Mine does exactly the same every time i start to do anything. Lovely ❤
I love trying to craft with cats. They make it a challenge which can be fun!
I am curious of this sewing method. Have used hoops are frames for many years. Does the fabric make a difference either square count and if the fabric is soft or stiff?
Thanks for showing and sharing
This fabric is stiff and so I find it easier to work on in hand versus in a hoop. I also use this method when I sew with linen, but when I'm doing this on linen I have to be sure that I don't pull too tightly or else it'll mess up the linen. But with this stiff fabric those fabric threads aren't moving even if I tug a little too tightly.
How did you know where to put backstitches?
Oh good question. I will have to take a look as I don't know if there are backstitches.
hard to hear you
Your cat requires your undivided attention and worship...
That is so true!❤️
You should start end end your floss on the back, not the front. Just sayin
