Interesting point you raised about Chinese Steel industry. The three major consumers of steel are Infrastructure, Real Estate and Automobiles. The first two are in a slump. If the west can keep away Chinese EV, there will a further slump ain demand making Chinese steel costly (because of low capacity utilisation) and make it another sick sector.

One can see Oil Dynamics in play. Saudi Arabia, Iran and Russia are all vying for the Indian and Chinese markets. With the Russian-China arms for oil and $100 billion deal. China isn’t able to buy much of Saudi oil and may not be able to do so for some time. That explains Saudi Arabia courting India aggressively. Even USA and Saudis are warming up.
Problem with Saudi Arabia is this that it's follow s the American dictation and increases the crude prices which hampers our economy
