Well done guys some good research, most New Yorkers will already know this but Gatwick Airport to London what Newark Airport is to NYC. The trains from Gatwick are quick and easy and Transport for London have put it on the Oyster card billing. Having an Oyster means for a small upgrade you can ride the River bus (look it up you will like it). Oyster only works in London if your going to travel outside London buy your tickets two weeks in advance the cost savings are significant. Which brings me to Fish and Chips The Brits eat Fish and Chips at the Beach as a rule (the sand ads to the experience😜). Have fun

What really suprised me was the flight cost of 1800 dollars, our trip to spain for 11 days which was all inclusive, all meals and drinks free, flights, transfers was just under £2000 than included insurance as well

Another tip. You don’t need an Oyster card anymore. They are a remnant of pre contactless payment cards. Just some small points that you will probably have found out during your time here that may help your fellow Americans who also come over:
The flag that you keep putting up is the Union Flag, aka the "Union Jack", which is the flag of the whole United Kingdom (England AND Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales) and not the English flag. The flag of England is the Cross of St George, a red cross on a white background. We have an old saying here that "Britain is not England 'writ big'!" 😉
Residents of the other three nations that make up the U.K. get rightly ticked off when they see the Union Flag being referred to as the flag of England. It isn't. 🙂
Oyster Cards are issued by Transport For London (TfL) not some "Royal" department.
As for our museums, you have doubtless by now found out that many of them (and almost all of the best ones) are absolutely FREE! You're welcome.

So when I was creating the thumbnail, I kind of wanted through the American lense, and I would say England is more related to the Union Jack than the English flag. Because in America, it’s very rare englands represented as Great Britain and not a solo country. I thank that goes back to the Beatles, majority of their merch carries the Union Jack in the USA . So we just thought it be easier. Yea your museums are incredible.

Regional sensitivities in the ‘United’ Kingdom explained for people that will find it difficult to imagine such furfure over bits of a rock in the Atlantic. The British Isles in antiquity was made up of hundreds of tribes who despite living on top of one and other spoke different languages and regularly slaughtered each other for next to no reason. Eventually some degree of understanding was established or imposed on the tribal peoples and the tiny little nation of Great Briton was born. The name Great Briton appears laughable given its diminutive size of it but it was to distinguish it from a very Little Briton which was later subjugated by the French.
So the British Isles is lawful, peaceful and trade prospers what’s not to love, I hear you ask. Well in Global terms that a reasonable person might appreciate next to nothing, although expressing this to the fanatics will result in your being subjected to a long boring rhetoric of all that is wrong in the world, so best avoided.
How to recognise the Fanatic and avoid your holiday withering in the boredom of local politics. Fortunately, they are small regional minorities who have nothing else more important to do such as managing, commerce, careers, relationships, and family. They are individuals who have watched too many Mel Gibson movies or are getting funding from crime or the Russians or both.
Where to find them. The Scottish Nationalists are in the mountains at the top and dream of running off to marry Putin. The Welsh Nationalists are in the mountains on the left and are currently busy doing something else. The Cornish Nationalists are in the toe of the boot bottom left and don’t like taxation. The Irish Nationalists are on the pebble left of the rock explaining how an Irishman, Frenchman and Viking effected the ‘English’ conquest of Eira fortunately most of them have now left and become part of Amazon corporation.
Fortunately 99% of the people you will meet on you trip are just normal people with more pressing issues to address than revolution and anarchy. Have a great holiday.

I would say if you do a video like this again, showing the British flag, it’s probably best to quickly explain the flag.
People from Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, do not like being called England, when well, their not.
I know in a comment you said that this is mainly for an American audience watching this.
However because you have London in your title and due to your future videos about visiting the UK, many people from the UK will likely watch this and future videos.
It’s very insulting to the countries (other than England) in the UK to be called England (before we became a union, we have some violent history with each other after all)
So if you use this flag in the future and are saying England, can you let them know that you do actually know the difference.
I can imagine it’s quite insulting to feel like your country is being called a different name or even being identified as a different country, one that you historically have fought wars against, it feels very dismissive to the actual countries with their own culture, language and history.
For example it be something like, constantly being called Canada, instead of the US, or constantly being called Texas, instead of the US or any other state would be identified as Texas.
I’m sure this misidentification, kept on happening, then a lot of Americans would get annoyed. They’ll essentially feel like their being dismissed or forgotten about.
Same thing here. So yes if you do this in the future please can you let your audience know, you are aware of the difference. ❤
