Directv has more channels and they have the BEST receivers. I was Dish customer for over 13 years and got tired of them losing channels all the time. With Directv, you never lose channels and the picture quality is much better. They cost almost the same for similar packages.

I don't know about Direct TV but I hope that they transmit football Spanish, German, Italian and English and that they may have audio in Spanish. Many of these satellites offer a service that does not have the other so that you acquire the 'premium' package to get from you more money. Dish network in bein sport doesn't have 'SAT' to switch it to the Spanish audio

Look into Internet TV service. I had youtube TV and now I have Hulu TV service. You get to pause, record and rewind too. Better than cable or satellite...

I switched to xfinity cable TV to go with my xfinity internet service. I figure that since my internet service never goes out so why not try cable TV... They finally caught up to Satellite DVR service technology too! I also added home phone service too. I also get free Netflix with the internet service... WIN WIN!!!

No way... Dish Network has better receivers. They have larger capacity Hard drives, more recording capabilities, they can record 16 shows at the same time and they are smarter, meaning they can do more. I use both and Directv is falling behind...

It gets very annoying. Currently I'm using xfinity cable for my TV service. Even they lose channels. Most recently ID channel was lost. I'm also using Streaming TV service and that has been great so far.

On the Hopper, you go to home, then settings, and choose Secondary Audio Programming, and choose Spanish.
You need to look again. I had Dish Network and they were missing a few very important ones.
