Diagnosed with Stage IIA Lung Cancer at 28

Did you know that lung cancer is one of the deadliest cancers that receive the least amount of research funding?
Sharing my story because maybe, someone out there watches this and gets a faster diagnosis than I did. Too many times , I was in the hospital and nobody knew what was happening because I was "young" and "healthy."
When Lung Cancer is diagnosed and symptoms show up, it is usually in a later stage. Awareness + education the most powerful way we can change stigma in regards to this illness.
Symptoms: chest pain, cough that wouldn't go away, back pain, fatigue (couldn't be awake past 4pm), bones aching
First symptom: August 14th, 2021. Officially Diagnosed: December 6, 2021.
Number of ER visits: 6.
Current Healthcare team: Rush Hospital Chicago (the best team ever)
