My daughter was misdiagnosed when she was 28 and went almost a year until on her 29th birthday, in 2006, she got a diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer in her left breast... it had spread to the lymph nodes all down her arm... I'm a nurse, and I insisted she begin a lawsuit! She did, and it took 7 years for her case to be determined, but eventually, she won her lawsuit! Her cancer returned again in 2021 on the right side, and she had to go through the chemo, the surgery, and radiation all over again... Even though she went through all of that again, she is doing extremely well now! She was also advised not to have any children because her cancer was being fueled by estrogen!! She had a hysterectomy to stop the estrogen production completely she obviously didn't want the cancer to return a 3rd time!

Worth noting if it goes in your medical records, it can be shared with future insurers though so prob best to use judiciously :-0
This is a true tragedy. I don’t know much about Irish healthcare, but I’m shocked. This is why I’ve reluctantly got private health cover…because time can be of the essence :-(
You’re one of those annoying people who can rock any hair colour I see..while simultaneously kicking cancer into the long grass and being the best mum to your lovely boys..and long may that continue DeeDoherty⭐️❤️ thankfully you went with your gut and acted on it..but it’s chilling to think how many people this happens to now especially with the rundown services then throw in the covid backlogging everything..
It gets me upset when Dr.s don't go an extra mile or dismiss things that are very important to patients. Im also sick and tire of reading or watching how medical insurances prefer for people to drop dead instead of authorizing tests and procedures to save lives.
Hahaha Molly I needed this!! Honestly, when I saw this video and my hair (which I have changed since then) I was thinking WTF!! This is the “my hair is coming out in chunks and I don’t know what to do with it” look!
That is so messed up. Misdiagnosed in the USA it's a lawsuit.
I have been following you on your journey and you have helped me so much get through this really challenging diagnosis’s….i just wish and pray for you to be NED…I cannot understand why a doctor just won’t order a test…it’s not coming out of his pocket….i mean who goes to the doctor to fake this to get needles and tests…it’s agonizing….so if someone is begging for something….what kind of power trip are you on to say no…..our tax dollars pay into these health systems so he has a job…..and he obviously didn’t vocalize an apology….but I do pray he always remembered what he did wrong to you…..so the next person doesn’t have to go through this…..
Oh I know he’s seen the videos! The hospital tried to stop me from making videos 😅 But no… no apology
@@DeeDoherty wow….how did they know? I’m so glad you continued going forward with that….as others would be fearful….some people just trust everything their doctor says…
They also wonder why malpractice insurance is so high.
Dear Dee,
I hope you live forever, you and your family. Psalms 37:9-11, 29 is a promise from God you can live forever. Revelation 21:3, 4 speaks of God's promise for no more pain or death, right here on earth. I wish you all the best for you and yours!
Love,
Diane

Gee you poor gal, the way you were treated through all the time trying to get the correct diagnosis that you new all along is shameful the system is shameful. Geez what a sad story....when are patients going to be listened to?!!!!!!
My cousin had it at 25 and a double mastectomy.
People are better taken care of in the so-called thirld world countries...!!!
