That was a great vlog, Helen! Awesome tips. I personally floss every single night before I go to bed and I keep a log of every task/assignment I've completed for work each week. This can also be done for personal tasks or goals and I feel like it keeps me organized and helps me feel accomplished too. Thanks again!
Yesssss to keeping lists 🤩 Can totally relate to that feeling accomplished feeling too!! Thank you for sharing lovely and hope you have a beautiful weekend! x x x
Loved this video and how these are easy to implement as well. I used to leave my phone outside of my bedroom and noticed that recently it's made it's way back in and making a difference to when I go to bed and how long I spend there in the mornings. Going to have to bring this one back myself. I'm the opposite with light though, I find it impossible to wake up unless my blinds are open and the light comes in. Obviously not as easy at this time of year so I picked up a Lumie clock. My tiny habit suggestion is less of a habit I guess, more of a support the habit suggestion: I love to light candles / dim lighting / light incense / cosy blankets and cushions / make a cuppa tea. Doing this helps motivate me to carry out some of the tasks here you suggested like reading, meditating or journalling. I began to notice I'd often put a lot of effort into setting a cosy vibe for my boyfriend when I cook for us or have a movie night but I rarely do these when I'm on my own. So yeah, romantising or setting that same scene for myself. Its much easier for me to begin after I've made the effort to make it look so inviting. P.S I absolutely had a candle lit dinner for one last week and it was so lovely to make that effort rather than sitting on my sofa (which is also nice in its own right lol)
OMG I LOVEEEEE these suggestions Sara 😍 Especially putting in the effort for yourself, just like you would for your boyfriend 🙏 I have a couple of nights by myself this week, so totally giving that a go, thank you!! P.s. Those pesky phones do have their way of creeping back into the bedroom hey 😅 So easily done! xxx
I completely agree that letting go of trying to make habits that don’t stick, or won’t stick. I did habit tracking for a few months and it was obvious which ones I was prioritizing very quickly. It gives you a good sense of what you value and what fits “easily” into your life, and helps you reevaluate things you want to do/change by figuring out a way to make them work for you. Great video Helen! ❤
Thank you for watching Aggie!! And thank you so much for sharing your experience 🙏 I've tried habit tracking in the past too 😊 For me it was a sure fire way to 'rebel' against myself and not do it 😂 So interesting how we all work differently! xxx
Hi Helen! Loved this. And would love another video about tracking your cycle, what you’ve learned, and how you intentionally plan around the different phases of your cycle! xx
Yay! So glad you enjoyed this one lovely! And noted on the cycle tracking, I'll try and remember to chat about this in the next one 🥰 Hope you've had a great start to the week and thank you for being here x x x
Awww I absolutely loved this video Helen. Really useful tips there. My tiny habit is to lay out my gym stuff the night before… right down to putting my trainers at the front door… the less I have to think about the better. ❤
The unsubscribing from emails was the one! Made me realise how many emails I just delete without even interacting with them. Perfect timing as well with Xmas coming up. You’ve saved me some big bucks!
Omg totally! I’m actually going to re-do mine now too! It’s funny because I used to feel so overwhelmed by emails and then I realised, I actually only needed to read or reply to a handful 😂 x x x
These are such helpful little habits. The menstrual cycle one is very intriguing to me. It’s yet another way to be interoceptive about my body. Thank you!
Hello from one Helen to another! Your channel has come at a perfect time for me. I'm 46 and am terrified of losing bone density as I get older. Because of this I've been doing weight training for the last couple of years but it doesn't really feel like 'me' and I've injured myself so many times (even though I had a trainer, I just feel like constant weight training doesn't suit me). Even if I have gotten stronger, I don't feel flexible, I have wrist and knee pain and I have so many days where I ache after the gym. Recently I decided to really focus on just moving and stretching, as well as strengthening but not always with weights. Your channel seems perfect for me right now so thank you! PS I've never written such a long comment on here!
Thank you so so much for watching and so glad you enjoy the vlogs!! At the moment I'm not really sharing much food stuff, as honestly I think they can be more harmful, than helpful.... I personally love watching food stuff and what it for inspo, but I know there's a lot of people that may use it as a 'diet', which I really don't want to promote.... Hope you understand ❤️ I do have A LOT of old what I eat in a day videos and actually some lovely recipes on my blog page of my website if you'd like some more inspo 🥰 there's a fabulous channel called Simnett Nutrition, who is all plant based and is actually a nutritionist, which is always so helpful for meal ideas! x x x
Great vlog! My tiny habits are practising a minimum of 15 mins every day of yoga/mindful movement - I keep track in a journal to make sure I never miss a day. This has been a game changer for coping with back pain and perimenopause/menopause symptoms. Also, I limit myself to following 10 people on Instagram - not as hard as I thought it would be! I highly recommend episode #392 of Feel Better Live More podcast with guest Mindy Pelz. Although it’s got ‘Menopause’ in the title, the first half is much more about our cycles in general. I wish I’d known all this when I was younger!! ❤
I LOVE Mindy Pelz 😍Thank you so much for the podcast recommendation - Adding to my list now! Thank you for sharing your habits too Nic, love to see it!! And LOVE the insta limiting.... I don't follow many people on my personal one, but you got me thinking..... I could definitely make it even fewer! Hope you're having a wonderful week so far! x x x
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. I already do some of the habits you share and totally agree! I’m going to try the eye mask one you suggest. A tiny habit that I’ve added to my life is to weave mindful moments throughout the day. So allow myself to notice my body and anything through the 5 senses at random times in the day. Sometime during special/exciting moments and also during mundane/repetitive moments too! X
Hey Helen! This video really made me smile and the tips are fab! Thank you! I have also stopped looking at my phone first thing and that has made such a difference to me too. Doing one of your classes every morning has become a great habit and has helped my mornings feel calmer. I have also been journaling for a while in the morning too. One habit I am trying to keep up at the moment is reading for a bit in the morning, that gives me a calmer start to the day. I have heard about tongue scraping and been meaning to try this. I agree we need to talk more about periods and contraception so would be interested to hear your experiences. xx
So glad you enjoyed this video Lauren and thank you so much for sharing your habits too!! Noted on the period / contraception, will remember for the next vlog! Hope you've had a great start to the week! x x x
These are some lovely tips, thank you! I went thru a similar journey coming off the pill a couple of years ago which is what led me to becoming vegan (and then your channel!) It’s been such a rollercoaster but I’m finally feeling more balanced and aware of what’s going on in my body and what affects my cycle (spoiler alert - it’s alcohol!) Being on the pill was convenient and dulled the cramps but now the symptoms are under control I am weirdly enjoying the feeling of a natural cycle. I know it sounds a bit crazy but it makes me feel more alive 😅 would love to hear you talking more about this subject ❤ definitely want to check out that book too!
Thank you so much for watching and sharing Emma! Alcohol is a big one for me too! And I LOVE that you feel more alive - That doesn't sound crazy at all 😍 Hope you enjoy the book if you go for it! x x x
The timing of this video was perfect. I was just Googling supplements to help with low mood, but I’m sure some of these tips will help me - thanks as always Helen, your star xxx
This was great! Thank you for sharing. I took my coil out last year, and after 9 months of awfully irregular periods I had 1 put back in. I’d love to know more about it, as I do think having a coil makes my anxiety worse. 😢 thank you as always for sharing with us ❤
Ooooooh I feel you SO much Sarah!! I did the same with the pill a couple of times.... My skin freaked out and was really getting me down so I kept going back on it! That book Period Power and the app / website hormonology has SO much interesting information regarding your cycle and times when you could be feeling naturally more anxious. This helped me through anxious times.... Obviously doesn't make feeling anxiety any easier, but it is reassuring to know 🙏 Hope you've had a lovely weekend! x x x
Love your life philosophy and your channel Helen. Ryan Holiday has a bookstore here in Austin Texas, if ever you visit. :):) I do one of your classes almost everyday, you have helped me through a lot of aches and pains. Thank you!
Oh my goodness I would LOVE to visit Austin one day - I a little obsessed because the stand up comedy is supposed to be amazing there 😍 And how cool he has a bookstore there - More reasons to visit! 🙏 I will 100% one day and will of course be vlogging it!! Thank you so much for watching and your kind words, appreciate you xxx
Love tips and tricks like these 😊 I cannot track, since my uterus is not present anymore 😅 But I am on my way to menopause, my cycle is on a cycletrip on its own 😅😅 It can be a challenge for my PMDD indeed. My mission is to take my high stresslevel down, since I am an expert at winding myself up! Maybe over time, it can help mentally but also with the excess fat in my lower abdomen 🤰😑 Great video again 💕😊xxx Anette
I looked up Maisie Hill but there isn't a menopause one, just peri menopause. I'm trying to navigate menopause but as it is so different for each woman I don't think there is an answer as such. Loved this vlog and am trying out a sleep mask, luckily I do sleep very well whereas a lot of menopausal women struggle with this. I had my coil removed in 2019 so experienced my cycle as it was meant to be for about a year, it was a marvellous experience. I found it very freeing. All young girls should be taught about their periods and their bodies xxx ❤
I think I got that wrong, sorry Jackie! Maybe the peri menopause one covers menopause too? Might have to check the blurb! So good to hear you sleep well and let me know how you get on the sleep mask 😍 "Freeing" is such a beautiful word for it 🥰 Thank you for sharing and hope you have a lovely weekend! x x x
I can't unsubscribe from your email, I look forward to the new playlist! I've set my phone to not allow any notifications between 9pm and 6am except for my dad and husband, that way I don't get woken up with alerts (my phone is my alarm)
Love these! So many wonderful nuggets of wisdom 😊. Would love to hear more about your cycle experience - I’m looking to become more in line with my cycle once I stop BF (I’m almost 8 months pp) but never felt I got to know that side of myself before having children
Congratulations Helen!🍼😊 Oooh that's so interesting, I don't have much of an idea about tracking your cycle after being pregnant and BF, but I'm totally happy to share my experience in the next one! Thank you for watching and hope you have a beautiful day! x x x
Hi Helen! Thanks for this sweet video, found the tips to be easy to apply and it was nice to be reassured to stick to the ones that resonate vs forces all of them to work. Also I totally fell inlove with your gorgeous white top, wheres it from? ❤
So glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the lovely feedback 😊Totally, I was so sick of feeling like a failure when I couldn't 'stick' to something, so had to change that viewpoint! The top is from Primark 🥰I got it the other day and it's from their Rita Ora collaboration! xxx
🙏I'd also like to add daily gratitude 🥰 What are some tiny habit you have? x
I let go of all of my habits when i got overwhelmed, now im building up the good ones again. Thank you ❤
🙏 Sending you lots of love Kat! xx

@@WellWithHels didn’t work this morning though! 😂😂❤️
A habit I always try to do daily is 'put my kitchen to bed' so when we wake up in the morning its not stressful ❤ xx Love the video xx
Love this Louise!! 🥰 Isn't it such a nicer start to the day when the kitchen is tidy! Thank you for watching! x x x

Love your vlogs! Can you do a “what I eat in a week” one, trying to be more vegan/plant based. Also about your vegan journey etc. 😊xx
Thank you so so much for watching and so glad you enjoy the vlogs!! At the moment I'm not really sharing much food stuff, as honestly I think they can be more harmful, than helpful.... Will do Raychel! Thank you for watching 🥰I didn't and don't take my temperature everyday - In hindsight that might have helped in the beginning 😅x x x
