I'm not and never have been a trucker, but after watching a few of this young man's videos, I think that this is what a REAL trucker should be, and is all about. This guy should be a mentor for all new, or any trucker, out there for that matter.
No matter what the content is it's always a pleasure to watch. Love the way you take pride in your ride. Keep those wheels turning and the diesel burning. Love from Jamaica
My dad drives a 1988 kenworth t800 with a 350 Cummins and cleans it every weekend and when people ask why he says, DOT stays away from the clean trucks for the most part because that represents a well maintained truck
As a female trucker I feel bad for having not even the 1/2 of your stuff 🙄..."Right now that's all I've got"?! 😜 Unfortunately what I've needed most was the jumper cables to charge semi's batteries from the reefer at 1am ourgh....a nightmare... You are a great "ahead of time cook in case you'll be hungry"! I'm giving you all credit👍
Just bought me a 2015 Peterbilt 567 today, taking my second shot at running under my own authority, excited to fly out to Utah to pick her up! Love your videos man! Gotta grab lunch when I’m on your side of the country.
Awesome videos! Used to ride with a neighbor who trucked livestock as a kid and miss ridding in a pete. your videos are awesome keep up what your doing!
I always carry a small tarp and rain gear because some people dump piss on the asphalt. Nothing worse than laying under trailer and realizing piss is everywhere. I also carry airline stuff in case I rip a line in log truck
I drove tractor trailer for UPS for 41 years, both local and sleeper team. Good video, air hose grommets....one of the most stolen items off trailers. Running cross country I carried most of what you have. Check out my photo to see the wreck I survived. Partner was talking on his cell phone and ran us into another trailer at 75 mph.
Thanks for maken these videos. I am a railroader, furloughed and all i know is haulen freight. In these times with my work history, i am turning to trucking to support my big family. I dont know many people anymore but its cool to be able to see these videos from people like yourself, thanks a ton. My familys life has been turned upside down by the state of the country. I am going into Roehls driver program to get my CDL, wish me luck.
I think the thing I like the most about this channel is you can tell this guy still puts the grind above the clout. No long rants talm bout sponsors, like and subscribe, and follow my patreon. Brief words and straight to work, just like everybody else here. No bullshit. We work all day long, and we don't watch these vids to hear some dude rant about his channel, we watch these vids to gain perspective from each other, for better or for worse, and this guy fulfills that.
@@High_strung Nah I get it man, the money's gotta come from somewhere, and I wouldn't do any different. There's a reason why every content creator ends up with sponsors. It's not a big deal, we watch youtube channels like this because it shows us that even though we do different shit we're still the same folk. Ads and sponsorships make it easy to forget that but at the end of the day its still true and we all know it
I am as far from having anything to do with trucks as possible. I don't even live in the US and having said all that, I am hooked onto this channel. That's the mark of good, simple & honest content. It reflects who you are. Best wishes and respect. Keep 'em coming.
Great video!! Also air hose that hooks to the glad hand. Tire pressure gauge and car wash soap and a water hose when you find time to wash!! Truck safe and looking good!
Great content you Learn something new from others perspective I made a quick list of the things you covered that I don’t have, also noticed a couple things you didn’t mention that have gotten me out of a pickle, air hose with glad hand connection, tire gauge and a tire plug kit helped me one time at a scale house I also keep a overall set and pumice for washing my hands in case I gotta crawl under the truck thanks again for your videos
forgot the peice, shifter hi\low air hose and the seals, brass things. some times you'll spring a leak in those little hoses, need to fix that or you'll get a ticket and more. can't shift with out air.
Being an owner operator I have enough stuff to just about rebuild my truck, I built a custom cabinet in the bunk for stuff like filters, gaskets, and lights and just small parts and added an extra toolbox on my flatbed just for my big stuff like bottle jacks, 1 inch impact, 100 foot of air hose ( always add a fitting to one of your air tanks to hook up air hose to so at least you can air a tire up, or like me change a tire yourself). I got anything you can think of to rewire anything. Now company drivers aren’t gonna have that much but when the repairs come out of my pocket I’m not gonna call somebody that I can do myself. But you carry way more than any company driver I’ve seen. ALWAYS USE A ZIP TIE TO TIE A SPARE KEY UNDER THE HOOD. I’ve had to break into my truck through the dog box and fold the mattress up to get in. Done that once and never again!!
Yeah i need a good wiring set with all my extra lights im always having problems no matter what ill heat shrink the but connectors and die electric grease all the fitting and something still happens. One night i lost all trailerlights in the middle of Chicago at 9 at night and while getting loaded i was changing the main plug on the tractor im the rain with shit tools so i could make it back out it sucked lmao
Stumbled on your channel this week and have watched several videos and I gotta say all the content you put out is top notch.
