Thanks for making this vid. The soonest any local shops have for service is a month out and the job is even easier than I thought (no need to pull anything else off).
Really need to ask a question about a 2006 Mustang bypassing the security system because the original keys were lost and don't have money to get keys replaced for car
Usually most safety systems go to the ignition. Also depends if it's aftermarket or stock. And as a 06 it might actually use a key transponder in the ignition which is read by the ecu Sorry I can't be of more help. But depending on the level of security. Even if you got it running it might not want to go over 5mph
If the engine isn't turning over it's not the fuel injectors. The car would still try to start and turn the motor over but wouldn't start or it would stumble with a bad injector
Originally I pulled one connector off each of the coil packs. Turned out something was wrong with cylinder 4. So then I swapped coil packs from 3 and 4 and there was no change to cylinder 4 not firing right. So then I swapped the #4 and #3 spark plugs. And still #4 was bad. So eventually I swapped fuel injectors from #4 to #2 and when I re tested #2 was not firing. It saved me a lot of money by swapping around the parts till I could prove it was the injector on #4 that was dying.
@Icespace183 I imagine it's a bit different. But the process is basically the same on most gas powered vehicles. Please find the fuel injector fuse and pull it to let the injectors run out of fuel before pulling the rail so it doesn't leak gas everywhere. Safety first
1 make sure the engine is not hot. 2. You should actually find the fuel pump relay and pull that then run the car out of gas. 3. Let any liquid gas evaporate for a few mins if it does spill before you turn the car on again. Unless the gas is at the correct air to fuel ratio it won't explode.
The process should be very similar. But the part numbers are most likely going to be different. Also watch for mid year changes. Another option is to pull your injector out and just look up the model number printed on it
Check your charcoal canister. If it gets clogged then the fuel vapors don't get accumulated in the filter and make their way into the cabin. Or your leaking gas.

You got me when you got the datsun. It is fun to see more content!
Welcome back, too
Thanks amigo, you made it too easy, and saved me a lot of cash.
Glad I could help
@@thousanddollarcarguy I JUST FOUND YOU, HOPE YOU'RE STILL PLANNING ON MORE CONTENT!!
@jerryloo416 i do plan on more content. Just need content worth creating videos for. Thanks for watching!

Nice. On with my search for a GDI injector replacement.
Did the fuel injector make the engine sound weird like louder ticking
That might be low oil. Bad injector will cause the engine to run badly like shaking or wanting to stall. I would check your oil first.
Hey really need ask big question a 2006 Mustang how do I bypass theft system in it

My Kia does crank no start and just click instead of the engine turn over. Do you think replacing the fuel injectors will help resolve this problem?

How do you know what is the injector that is giving you problem?

Can I do the same with 2.7 v6 Kia Magentis 2008
? Thank you

What did you do to make sure that gas did not catch fire

Does this work for 2018 model?

@@thousanddollarcarguy I’m looking at my engine right now I’m not a mechanic or anything like that. I just like to save money I can’t identify it.

Re, Fuel in Fuel Rail ...Let engine run ...Pull Fuel Pump Fuse ... Engine will stop ...!
I have 2018 1.6 model
My girl has a 2016 1.6 model. I’ve been looking everywhere for a vid that could show me but no one made it

This isn't all that clear for me because it is nothing like what I am working with at all.
You say $130 EACH ?
Yeah. From the big 3 parts dealers
@@thousanddollarcarguy $520 plus tax about $555 for 4 injectors
@@c0uchsl0uch yup. That's why I didn't buy them from those guys. I even looked at whole used fuel rails with injectors for a 1/4 the price
