Hey Chris, nice video!! You should try coming up to Montréal, pretty cheap by Greyhound. Also, accommodation is cheaper too. If youre coming to MTL, I could make you a quick list of things to do cause I live there!
Chris, are you a remote developer for some company or you take different projects? I think it's quite cool that you can keep up with this nomad lifestyle
I picked up a portable wifi device from a possible sponsor but I probably won't feature the product on this channel as I haven't been too impressed by the experience with it so far.
Chris: I see your NYC location at Outsite Brooklyn, 150 Waterbury St, Brooklyn, NY 11206. Great Location and reasonable price for expensive NYC. I see you used the subway, which is what natives use primarily to get around (good choice for transportation). Brooklyn Diner at 212 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019 - total tourist trap. There are eating places nearby which offer much better value. You can pay $200 a week or $2,000 a week - for accommodations in Las Vegas (and the latter is not ten times better). I will be curious to learn about your experience in Las Vegas. Question: Would you consider accepting suggestions [re hotels, cowork, restaurants, etc.] (from subscribers) for locations you will be visiting in the future?
It has to be. I'm from Connecticut. Travelled to NYC a million times maybe even more. Never paid that much for a burger especially at a dam diner! But I guess if you don't know you will fork it up.
Chris: super vlog. Really enjoyed it. illustrates how expensive NYC can be for a visitors. I imagine it is worse for someone who has difficulty with the English language. I have never paid anything close to those prices in NYC for a burger. It is obvious that NYC is not for the digital nomad (best to make a short visit and move on). Same applies in Las Vegas. Visitors easily pay $35 for a buffet in Las Vegas, but I pay $4 simply by walking a few blocks off the strip.
I do. I sent my response to you via your "business or collaborative enquiries only" contact form Did not wish to clog up this section reserved for comments. I assume you already booked a place to stay, so I mostly restricted my response to dining suggestions. Thanx
Quality of content is grown.Good work, Chris! Very nice to watch.
I used to live 4 blocks away when I lived in BK permanently. That was my grocery store!!!!
Do you still work as a web developer or have you moved more towards video editing?
Exactly my thought!
Great video Chris
What exactly do you work as
Explained here: ruclips.net/video/buqYbysNgWM/видео.html

Love the content chris
Did you get this intro music from Charles gross?
Tracklist (as always) is in the description mate ;)
Chris the Freelancer Thank you! I’ve been trying to find that song for forever lol
Is that a shared bathroom?
Yep
jeez.. $20 for that burger? what a rip off lmao
It costs money to breath in NYC
U.S is quite expansive, single tiny burger costs 20 bucks. In Serbia you could buy meal for 4 persons.
Mike Linux it is really expensive and the minimum wage is $9. Good luck feeding your family on that.
You can find great burgers and fries for much less than $20. Where Chris went was just a tourist trap..
I thought so, so when visiting New York just to avoid fancy places?
Mike Linux I'm moving to Serbia in 3 months and I'll make sure to ascertain this information. :P
So what did you pickup from the post office?

Hey Chris, love the content!
I was wondering whether you were still working as a web developer or moved to more content creation for income?
Cheers!
Mainly content creation and video editing for clients.
Nice place👍
What does it cost to stay there per night?
I think about $80 USD per night for a single person, more for couples.
Welcome to my hood 😀
Is it Columbia University??
Is what Columbia University?
6:59 it looks quite similar to somewhere close to Broadway and Columbia. Been there in the same winter time^^
Vegas?
Yes, Las Vegas, NV
Chris, r u outta your mind? 21 $ for a measly burger and skinny fries......can't breathe, can't breathe, ma'aaan....:-)
If that's too expensive for you then stay in Chiang Mai :P
WELCOM TO NYC
Yep. That one was a stinger but hey, it's New York right? The whole city is overpriced.

It's a shame because while housing will always be expensive in NYC for a traveler, it's possible to eat extremely cheaply, get around cheaply too.
$20 for a burger and fries. Wtf
It’s a tourist trap.
