Nyc was great 15 years ago. But now I’m like should I just leave my job here and relocate which I think I will. It is heading more towards a city in Brazil like rio or São Paulo in the quality of life. The demeanor of the people. Lack of safety. Etc etc. drugs. Homeless. Cost. And the more affordable food is all junk food while the healthier or high end foods cost 5x more for the exact same quality of food and restaurant that you could get in like in Bali or some Caribbean island etc
I’m looking on RUclips for links for Transfer Wise, and however I find quicker I will apply but wanted to reference you guys first because I’ve been following your channel and you guys have offered it before. Thanks in advance.
Hi guys. Love your vlogs. Looked up the Pod in Brooklyn, Williamsburg as thinking about doing a trip to NY next year. Not the cheapest. Found La Quinta and a few others much cheaper and 3 stars. Did you get a cheaper rate because staying longer?
Wow! I was in Williamsburg in 2005 and it was literally just a cute little village with a few cool streets and little shops and cafes! Go Williamsburg!! Nice work guys. Love the New York vibes l. You won’t regret Chicago if it’s on in broadway and I’m sure you can hustle cheap tickets on certain days etc
Great vlog guys. halal food only!!! Your room Was pretty good. When we went to NYC onto the Stat Ferry we just saw fog so peed! Though some were taking photos 😅 it is pricey there to eat though can find some pretty reasonable food stalls like you saw. Those cakes😋I just wouldn’t know where to start to choose 😮
I recently returned home after a year abroad in Latin America and found the "reverse culture shock" harder to deal with than I expected. Overall, though I felt that my perspective had broadened immensely, and that I'd grown significantly as an individual, I was actually less functional and worse off as an American back in American society. What is the readjustment period like for you all when you are back in Canada or Australia (or somewhere similar like the US)? And what has helped make the transition easier? Cheers!
Loving your videos guys! Lloyd I have a question re Masterworks. What was involved in the interview? Are they asking a minimum investment? Loving the idea of investing in high quality art! It seems like a no brainer! Thanks for any advice you can offer!
If you don’t include lodging it’s kind of cheating to spend “only” $100 per day. I signed a lease for just under $85 per day…13 years ago and in NJ. If you enjoy craft beers or go to a bar for cocktails, such as “PDT”, $100 a day for 2 people isn’t much, and don’t even start me on the cost of a Broadway show for 2 (which should be a must see). But still a World class City and worth a visit on any budget.
You also have to remember you are visiting and not a resident. Its much different when you're looking at rent, groceries, transport with those groceries (normally don't take the subway) and stuff like that. But you're right, Vegas is made to make you lose money haha
Would I be able to send money from my bank account to someone else in another country? That’s what I’m trying to do without using Western Union which is expensive after a while.
@@elsienorback7689 Yes for sure, we use Paysend though and if you use our code you won't be charged any fees. It works great for us bit.ly/LloydMandyPaysend - Enter Promo Code "LLOYDMANDY

On a normal day to day I find Burlington, Vermont more expensive than Brooklyn
