I saw this post on facebook and it is only going to be a matter of time. I am all for having a good time, but doing 50 mph around people on bike paths is eventually going to ruin the good times. The ban on ebikes in Manhattan Beach, CA goes into effect tomorrow. No longer allowed on bike paths or sidewalks same with Hermosa Beach. They put the blame on too many close calls with ebikers and the speed. I can't emphasize enough for everyone to be courteous and respectful when riding your ebikes esp. on bike paths and sidewalks. We are all ambassadors for ebikers. Ride responsibly! Slow down when you see pedestrians or your city may wanna ban too.
I wonder if Manhattan Beach considered the close calls and fatalities associated with cars and their speed/size. Although I do think 30mph+ is way too fast for a bike lane, that really sucks that a city would ban ebikes. Only makes car traffic worse with more people on the road.

These aren’t Ebikes at all. It’s more like an Emoped or Emotorcycle. I want one but please keep in mind that you aren’t a bicycle and should treat it like a motorcycle. You’ll ruin it for everyone eventually.
Its kind of annoying having an ebike because random people have the same three things to say and then walk away: 1) How fast does it go? 2) How far does it go? 3) How much? Then they split. That's the whole conversation. Every single time. Annoying as fuck. I am starting to ignore them now and ride off.
Well that's because the next question or impulse is to ride it and they know its a "no." But trust they are researching it when they get home. If you wanna have fun beat them to the questions and ask them how fast their pedal bikes go, how far and how much hahaha! Gotta have fun bro. That's a silly thing to get annoyed about.
Are all ebikes illegal to ride on bike paths where you're from?? If the ebike doesn't do more than 30mph it should not be illegal to ride on bike paths. I can easily do 25-30 mph on a standard bike.
@@Poteluz Class 2 in Nevada is 750w max 20mph operable pedals. E-bikes meeting those regs are treated as a bicycle and legal on bike paths. Best of both worlds for you. A 60mph electric motorcycle that you can ride on bicycle paths and only go 20mph. Got it.

@@kevlarxkoffee how much did you sell it for?
Where are these bike paths located that is so awesome when I go camping out west I got to check those out👍👍👍👍also subscribed to u👍
I'm in Rancho Cucamonga, near the Victoria Gardens mall. If you check the map, you'll see some paths. But there's better ones out there. It's also along the way heading toward Vegas, so just stop out in the desert for some riding 😬
Looks amazing around there we don’t have bike paths like that in Jersey
Spokes will loosen under power; the cast rims are a good investment.
Hey bro! That bike is a standard right? And how tall are you? And how is the ride height for you?
Yea it's a Standard with the DRT kit. I'm around 5'8 to 5'9. I'm fine on it, but I'd probably like the shorty more. Watch my other videos, I answer a lot of questions.
I wouldn’t consider it being called pulled over if your on the sidewalk
What do you think about the Sondors metacycle?
Looks cool. Just skeptical about the 80 mph, you'll prob only get a range of 20 miles using it. Their website doesn't give a lot of specs on the bike either. Doesn't mention if there's multiple riding modes, or even regenerative braking. Also for a bike to go that fast, it will prob have a vin number and need to be registered and plated? I like not having to pay for all of those right now 😄
Does it have turn signals ? Been looking at this bike for a while. My 1st E bike was the lectric xp :)
Turn signals can be added on for an extra $200. Kinda pricey. Never heard of the lectric xp, going to look it up 😬
Ashley F, I also have a Lectric XP though it’s a great bike for a starter or a second ride it’s more for the RV retirement crowd.
I bought a Sondors fold 4 yrs ago, i’m looking for another one now, might get the new Madmods, or this onyx looks awesome 😎
I hate that sondors has only done one PR review on the mad mods. Just can’t wait to see the first batch ship in late March to finally see the product
Did you end up going with the onyx?
@@ellestar2306 I ended up buying a Super 73 S2 and RX, sold them both, just ordered a Rad Runner 1, i like to pedal, the super 73 is a great bike if all u want to do is GO, but peddling on it actually hurts your ass on that seat for some reason, the rad runner has so many options u can do, holds tons of stuff, u can use it like a car, go to the store and pick up groceries lol
@@JerseyStyle7 wow you had a bunch of bikes. I'm glad you found something that better suits ya lifestyle. You can't go wrong with those Rads.
What bike do you recommend for a commuter? 11 miles one way.
@@ellestar2306 any e bike will do, but the Sondors fold is a good bike, or the Rad Runner
So sad I missed that audio bro 😅
How is the seat? I always had issues with bike saddles
The seat could be a bit better. Maybe with a lil dip on it to form with the butt and to allow our feet lower. But I'm fine with it and have no issues 😬
@@kevlarxkoffee Nice, thanks
onyx is imo the coolest, but just too damn expensive
Why
Why is onyx better than surron
Let’s say aside from range since you can always upgrade batteries on both.
I like the bike, but super lame to be going 50+ MPH on a bike path with people leisurely walking.
Another cool toy 👍
Cheers mate
I was going to buy a premade bike it would be a Huck or this one💯👍👍
You should also check out the Rumble Air, and Ristretto 303
Ariel rider grizzly v.2 sir.
Damn No cup holder 🥲
Yea I should buy one. Looking up some now 😬
Wow
These aren’t Ebikes at all. It’s more like an Emoped or Emotorcycle. I want one but please keep in mind that you aren’t a bicycle and should treat it like a motorcycle. You’ll ruin it for everyone eventually.
Its kind of annoying having an ebike because random people have the same three things to say and then walk away:
1) How fast does it go?
2) How far does it go?
3) How much?
Then they split. That's the whole conversation. Every single time. Annoying as fuck. I am starting to ignore them now and ride off.
Lol it's true 🤣
Well that's because the next question or impulse is to ride it and they know its a "no." But trust they are researching it when they get home. If you wanna have fun beat them to the questions and ask them how fast their pedal bikes go, how far and how much hahaha! Gotta have fun bro. That's a silly thing to get annoyed about.
Forgetting about Huck cycles
Congrats on your electric motorcycle purchase. Riding it illegally on bike paths is screwing the e-bike community and getting us banned.
Got it.
@@zeroboyrick1717 ah ok so the speed limit out there is 30mph and this one goes up to 60mph. I just thought by the way you first responded that any ebikes riding on bike trails was illegal. I agree in regards to faster ebikes, to me once they can hit 40 mph or more there should be restrictions.
@@Poteluz Class 2 is the most common classification for bicycle path use across the US. People don't know what it is but they do know if it's going too fast so the end result is ban them all. It doesn't help when it looks like a motorcycle. I have a Sur-Ron it's frustrating.
And, you sound moist to the people reading this…..
Huck Cycle.
for this price u might as well just get a motocycle
Yeah, if you want to pay registration and insurance every year.
And a trip to the DMV for a Class A License and monthly insurance payments upwards of $700 a year, gasoline, maintenance costs that are borderline insane. Whereas the E Bike does not have any of these costs.
surron only real motorcycle in this list pwhahaha
