I'll be honest, when Kyle invited me up to his hotel room for a one-on-one session this wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but it still worked out ok
Please tell me more....
😂😂😂Spicyyy
😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
What a scam.
It's always great to see these two together. They both seem down to earth. Glad to see Kyle not leave the tech videos completely as well.
I hope this becomes a regular show! LOVE IT!
Wooo when you two are together talking about hardware like this, it's awesome 🎉
EVERY. DAMN. TIME.
it's great that it's less of a interview, and more two friends just chilling.
Funny you mention Newegg and quiting. I had a simular experience at GM. Old boomer here, I worked as GM technical trainer. We started out small most of us had technical backgrounds as service managers, technicans. The dealerships loved us. With the GM bankrupcy everthing changed. The head of GM training was forced into retirement. The new kid that took over wanted us to be entertainers, cheerleaders if you will. All of us that were "old" people were phased out because we were not exciting enough. He hired "younger" people he wanted, and paid then about a third of what we were making. Needless to say the program started to fall apart. They begged us to come back. After the way we treated none of us took him up. That job started out as dream job. So I can understand your frustration. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the great conversation! Hang in there guys! Rebellions are built on Hope!!!
The resistance will prevail! ✊ Thanks so much!
Always awesome to see you two together. Always a good time.
I'm glad that both of you are still very good friends.
NGL this interview definitely made me miss awesome hardware! However, I always enjoy seeing the two of you together! And I’m glad Kyle has not completely left the Tech space
I turned 40 this year, and I’m right there with Paul about the internet in the long ago versus now. Mainstream popularity does ruin the best things about something. I do miss those days and the luxury of growing up without internet and social media pressures.
Also! Cables plug into the back of the board!? Having been building since the 90’s, what a time to be alive.
This was a great conversation. Thank you for making this happen, Kyle. Excellent choice on your guest. You two have such wonderful chemistry. World Peace, y'all.
You guys should do a regular show. Call it something like Amazing Equipment, Cool Gear, Sweet Implements, something like that.
you might be onto something. i'd watch that. it would be awesome if they could sit and talk about hardware
They could call it awesome hardware!
What a GREAT idea! Mobile podcast with the tech community around tech shows and events! You can do this all year! PLEASE DO!
Thank you for the episode of Awesome Hardware 2.0 only needed to wait 4 years
Amazing interview, thanks for being so candid and blunt.
Good times! Makes me think you two should do a monthly podcast together (with special guests of course lol)
YAAAASSSS!!!! THE BOYZ ARE BACK IN TOWN!!! LETS GOOO!!!!!
Thanks for the Saturday morning content Kyle!
It's always great to watch an interview between you guys!
Hope to see another collaboration!
1:07:50 lol :D
Awesome as always when you two get together and hang out!
Love you and Paul. Been watching since the Newegg days.
Awesome when you guys are together!
yey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my boyz are back! glhf paul and kyle!
p.s. @29:50 OUTSTANDING CHOICE PAUL!
38:27 HAPPY BDAY JOE! :d glhf brotha!
Your and Paul's friendship is amazing!!!!
You two together are always awesome! And Paul, Its ok, I am 46 and I feel you on the growing up before this "always connected" time that we live in. One cool thing is we got to see the birth of something that literally changed the world. Love you guys! Keep making great content for us to ingest!
This is awesome!
I love you both too!
I can't even look at Gatekeeper Nexus since his righteous hit piece on Linus's lack of perfection. GN protecting the consumer from - LTT?... Big Screwdriver?
Kyle, you didn't do the russian roulete with a bottle! :)))))
AWESOME HARDWARE vibes!!
Cheers!
keep up hard work bro on your channels hope to see more
RIP Awesome Hardware
Love the fact that you make yourself laugh in your MSI commercial.. perfect. It's interesting that you and Mel are opposites with the gambling. Me and my gf are the same except she's the gambler (she's Thai).. we balance one another out though and my first thought was perhaps you two do as well. Your impersonation of Paul quitting has made me realise that all these years he's reminded me of Garth Algar.. (sorry Paul, but that's probably pretty cool really). Lovely to see the two of you catching up.
Epic!! Love seeing you guys together it’s like peanut butter and jelly, or more like 13900k and a 3080 super. Or something
This just made me miss awesome hardware.
I kind of love your ad style. Just let ChatGPT write it and show yourself reading off the phone. LOL!
Paul Has A Dream
Paul...check out Louis Rossman, if you have not already.
He is a laptop repair man that was hired by an ex yahoo employee (Millionaire) to facilitate hiring software developers that are creating good, useful software without the corporate control.
Together they founded FUTO.
Do not know what the acronym stands for at this moment but the heart and soul of the project is truly refreshing.
Loved the interview!
I like Paul's ref at the end to Wil Wheaton's mantra "don't be a dick".
@paulshardware Thanks for explaining that to us, I was trying to figure out how and why high-limit coin pushers showed up in my recommended-for-you feed. Literally in November.
Are there no electric bikes or scooters for rent around CES?
Well... That explains why Paul's lingo, and humor hits so keenly for me. We're in that same generational pocket that's not technically Gen X, but can't really identify with Millennials.
And here I thought I was a few to several years older, since I have a kid in college.
Elder Millennials FTW. We've had the full experience growing up with tech shift from the rotary to the iPhone.
Makes me miss "Awesome Hardware" used to watch every episode. Good old Tuesday!! Too bad it ended and Kyle retired.
to be fair, i don't think it was specifically kyle that was the underlying cause. i think that was someone who's no longer in the picture anymore, thankfully.
It was NCIX ... Linus that got me started and both of you Jay Steve Nick and more to keep up with PC's Thank all the information I have learned from all of you! ... Is U-Tube Censored in Premium???
If your asking if the swear words at the end of the interview are beeped, then the answer is yes. Watched this with YT Premium and there was zero ads inserted but words still got beeped. They were probably only bleeped because Kyle had a couple of sponsor spots in the video.
Its not the swear words; I watch a lot of different U-Tube post podcast and find that Fashion, Music Videos, are allowed to show Much more than Photography, War News can show more on some sites but are restricted on other sites, Censored; Is there an all around Service like U-Tube other than Twitch/ X that an 60year old does not have all this uneven censorship? @@frommatorav1
It was Steve from GamersNexus that said he was busy right? RIGHT?
never been first.. damn.. keep em comin Kyle!
Hello, Paul from Paul is Awesome.
Kyle, podcasting might be your thing, a natural! Soothing yet not the to the extent to GNSteve. Lyle, I’d stay clear of in this format.
Bromance at its finest. 🙃
Min-maxing is just minimizing everything not desirable for the task/skill etc. and maximizing the things you need for the task you're prepping for. Like in WoW it might've been DPS, healing etc. (and minimizing amount of effort etc just optimization of time spent since some raids had time limits too) but could be used for bodybuilding, diet etc. anything really. It can lead to an imbalance, naturally, but in something that you have a group of people to compensate, it doesn't matter.
Revive the AwesomeHardware please. Quarterly perhaps?
Really thought you were introducing yourself 😛
I’d watch a podcast of you two not necessarily talking about tech.
i hope kyle would invite lyle on podcast
Bros straight shooting these videos at the venetian lol
I STAND WITH TEXAS!
He should have made the bed before the show. 😂
youtube tv isnt just tv its cable tv , just tv would be bunny ears , i remember the days beforev cable where tv was actually FREE and the Neilson Ratings were more than enough , then there was game shows that brought advertising TO TV !!! if you want real history , talk to someone that lived through all 3 era`s going into the 4th tech / industrial era , , ,
Paul's utopian vision of social media without negativity is hilarious because algorithms are specifically engineered to brew this type of sentiment. These platforms understand that hate-fuelled sensationalism drives traffic.
not of fan of that garbage AI monitor but great show :)
I know you are individuals but together you are more than the sum. You should get back together.
Was anyone else surprised by Paul's age? I always thought he was in his mid-30s O.o
Do Minimum effort to maximize profit is what I call it
Is this your new husband?
We need more views! Such a cool interview.
What happened to my last comment?
We need Steve from gamer nexus!!!
No to linus. Never him
Firsttt
Paul coping by trying to convince us he's a millennial 😂
Millennial's were born between 1981-1996
Paul is Gen X. Go drink a Pepsi old man!
Every time I see Paul I feel like he's going to start scolding everyone about blm or something just out of the blue lol
ITS ALL REACTION VIDEOS ATM WHICH I FIND BORING .
