Thanks for the video. I finally realized that there is this circle which shows you if you make sounds and where players can hear them. I have always been unsure when I have to be quiet because I did not know the radius.
But Teets, I wanna be quiet when I swing angles! I don't want to swing fast and be loud
You can do both silly. Holding A or D, but not too long. You can swing fast without making noise.

I stopped using shift when peeking and my performance got way better. Also I noticed, that sound is important, but if the enemies already now you are there, do to abilities etc, shift walking doesn't really matter.
Thanks for doing these vids! Been playing Val for about a year and a half, and thanks to you guys, I feel like I'm starting to develop some good habits and gamesense. Quick question for you- How do you deal with smurfs? Particularly the ones that rush down mid for a flank every round like a juggernaut? Is there any way to punish them for being too aggressive if they can outgun you and time their rush perfectly?
Flash them if you know they’re rushing an easy counter is a flash because they’re playing out of position usually mid is big open ground as well so they cant hide after you flash I like to count to 3 if they’re rushing flash out and then peek and it’s a free kill
And then when they play slow count a little higher

I remember getting caught with cypher tripwires or chamber trap and still using shift, but then i realized “why would i hold shift when everyone knows where i am and will go?
Counter strafing, practice aiming, tactical thinking, communicating (e.g. giving infos, coaching teammates once I die), and this, this one. I've been doing all of it and yet I've been stuck in Bronze for such a long time lmaooo
Surely guides from YT really taught me how to play better but it's really hard when your teammates is really a beginner or just idiots, like, mate, I've been saying to don't peek mid and just hold for like 100x already.

i can advice you to add some random teammates who are good or at least communicate and play with them at least until plat 1. Started playing, ranked in as silver 1, got to gold plat 1 pretty quickly with mostly 3 and 5 stacks and then started playing solo and got to dia 3 ... then it mostly comes down to how good you really are because comms arent the problem anymore, its mostly about crosshair placement and game sense :) hope i could help
@@r3load403 The thing is that, I do that, I play with my friends sometimes but they can't really play every time I play, these past few days, I barely play like I used to, I told my friend that I would not play anymore without him lol yeah anyway, thanks for the advice, sometimes I just got blamed for smurfing in the Bronze-Silver lobby lmaoo

I always end up in a team where my teammates love to flank and wont enter the site as attackers and also love to push as defenders. And worst of all, I suck at this game😂

it wasn't harsh. the worst things any athlete can experience is be rewarded for bad habits, that's you find yourself in a horrible dead end and often times will now have you go all the way back to square 1 to fix it which is a massive waste of time, so thanks for this!

Ahhh I've had the pleasure of playing with a random who prefixed every frekin angle they come across even though their allies literally cleared said angles not even 3 seconds ago using a vandal of all things causing the enemy to become aware of them and their team mate's location.
Id understand it if they used either a specter or phantom but I really hate those kinds of people second only to smurfs

I’m at plat elo and play initiator. I try and get my teammates to coordinate a plan each round and make simple plays off my util but sometimes there are games where they ignore my strays and just make jokes or there are no comms. Those are usually the games I loose. What am I supposed to do in this situation.

Gold n silver lobby is trash.... very less people actually do their jobs often and especially when needed, my teammates most of the time are awful...i dont play that much n also not that well... then when i play i see two gold2 duelists instalock n then bottom fragging.... and abusing in mumbai server is like a feature that turns on as soon as you enter the match.....Oh boy.
