What helped me with this was movement, if you don’t want to die immediately do a quick side step to give you time to aim, shoot if you miss side step again.
That is a misbelief you are having in my opinion. Check my latest video for a full explenation on how not to get oneshot while taking your time to aim. Works in my immortal games and I have even seen it work at pro level.
The 1st advice is one of the best that i have ever applied. Everytime i am trying to focus on the target i land more headshots. Even though I got this habit by playing a lot, it's not obvious to new players
I know that these are kinda obvious but I’m a major “focus on my crosshair not enemy and panic spread” for some reason. I’m so afraid of losing the interaction I sell myself short, been aim training lately and I’m noticing improvements but I seriously need to get rid of my panic spread habits
I’m closing in on ascendant and I’m a sentinel main that relies 100% on game sense and my ability to time my peeks. Been working on my aim since I’ve been told I could hit immortal if I had decent aim. These guides are actually helping me so much. Thank you !
Happens to me a lot and I am diamond 1. People play so unpredictably in this rank. Sometimes opponent's duelist is lurking. U never know what to expect.
What your saying in this video is the miyagi training method it's when you aim and focus on the target for a second or two and then shoot, really helps with aim training but you should try it in the range first to get a feel for it
i’ve been seeing this by truly trying to focus myself on the game without my conscious mind disturbing my aim and the amount of ppl if been catching just prey spraying with one taps is insane
This is some seriously great advice, and I still benefit from working on all 3 ingame and during drills. I disagree with a minor part of point 1 though: I find that *looking at* your crosshair generally helps with focusing more consciously on seeing the enemy and tracking their movement. By the time your flicks are done, you will see your target below/close to your crosshair anyway, and that's when you can start tracking their movement and adjusting your aim. You might argue semantics in that you only said not to "focus on" your crosshair, and that's fair enough, but I still think this is brought up too much. *Looking at your crosshair* is helpful; *seeing your enemy/target* just needs to be the highest priority.
I heard some people say that a split focus between enemy and crosshair is the best. Maybe it's a bit of personal preference aswell but for me I don't specifically focus on the crosshair. An analogy would be tennis, where you focus on the ball only. You never look at your racket before a strike and still with some practice, you manage to hit the ball perfectly if you have proper focus on it. For me it's the same. I need to pick up the head of the target asap and then the crosshair knows where it has to go automatically.
That focus on the target is like a basketball. Like great 3pt shooters, they always look at the ring before shooting. Kinda very far example but it actually works!
It's such a simple but effective "secret" in many sports! I used to play table tennis and the chinese (who are by far the best at the sport) always preached to look at the ball ALL the time and keep it in focus. - CruZzAve
The thing is in actual scenarios you'd need to do this in a short time window. Almost feeling like doing it simultaineously. But generally thats how it should be.
People write this all the time. If you don't have time to aim, then your movement is not good. You need to aim while you move. Then enemies won't be able to kill you right away.
The reason why i quit playing valorant was because i only got into lobbies where people immediately one tap me, i never had any time to line up the shot i just died immediately, whether theyre smurfs or whether im bad it doesnt much matter, i cant get better if my enemies arent even reasonably better than me and insanely better
Rule #1: DONT PANIC. This always got me killed until one day I was like “I’m just gonna play. I die, I die” and what do you know? I got 2 kills for once.
analyzed pros like benjyfishy and primmie and they also 'panicshoot' primmies first bullet goes is shot when he isn't even on target. But most times they will sidestep while flicking to give more time to hit the shot. but if they just fully flick whitout moving they will 'panicshoot' aswell
Tbh I learned this stuff the hard way, playing for a month or so i figured out i have to take time before shooting + adjusting but this is where the game sense comes out since this method doesn't work all the time , so after all ur skills can't jump_up in one night, it takes time to be good
Heres what made me increase hs percentage by 12% instant 1. Have a small crosshair, valorant is about aim and especially percision over accuracy 2. Customised sens, valorant is about aim you have to be confident in your aim 3. Unbind crouch key, valorant is about aim so you have to have consistent crosshair placement

Haha, well these tips are not made for shotguns. ;)
To be fair, it can work for shotguns in a way. Aiming for the head with a Judge or Bucky is just as frightening lol
@@theguide_valthere’s no way u took that seriously 💀
@InsanityVirus nah aiming judge or bucky slightly lower the head is better bc almost all of the bullets will hit and it would be an ohko
Prefiring and clearing corners is separate more advanced lesson than literally “how to aim”

Meanwhile me: gets shot to hell with a classic while trying to adjust my crosshair for the head
All about practice! ;)
Proper Crosshair placement is the key 😉
im not saying you dont know, but you should use your movement to make it hard for the enemy to shoot you first.

Your videos are better than any other valorant guide channels.
Explaining everything step by step helps so much. Great channel!

u don't need to panic if u have good aim

Your aim skill doesn't really change even if you don't play that much. Its just muscle memory.

I think this is the first time ive seen a valorant aim guide video that wasnt them just saying i need to change my crosshair and sensitivity.
"You have to aim and shoot"
Yeah, by the time I'm done aiming I'm already dead
the more you practice the faster you will be at making the adjustment to get on target at first you will die before shooting
"Aim first then shoot"

The enemy spraying you and killing you:

@@theguide_valWell when you move your aim sucks so what do you do? Either aim and stand still or move and get bad aim. Lose-lose situation.

The thing is that whenever I try to do this I get shot first on head
THE LAST CROSSHAIR CODE
I did this before even watching this video. Man tells the truths. Though I forget this trick sometimes😅
If I get head shot what can I do

Taking your time kills you. Even in low elo people headshor you before you can 100% put your crosshair at head
me myself ofcourse always think when i peek an enemy, ah i lost this
any tips to start focusing on enemies more? im stuck in a habit of continuously looking at my crosshair and never at my target
mind practice like in real life we focus on person when we talk not adjust just eyes
If u are reloading and u are in open move and the there person's mag will be empty u can shoot and get a easy kill
Tbh I learned this stuff the hard way, playing for a month or so i figured out i have to take time before shooting + adjusting but this is where the game sense comes out since this method doesn't work all the time , so after all ur skills can't jump_up in one night, it takes time to be good
