My all time favorite skillet song
I love this solo and the one on Whispers in the Dark. You can hear such a specific flavor of shredding, almost like a faint influence of 80s hair metal. The melody and style is so effective that a short solo like this gives us plenty. Skillet is some seriously good music, thanks for covering it

Nailed the solo bro 🤘🏻 never noticed a lot of the guitar in this song until I'm seeing it played lol I always follow the vocals and violin in this song. That verse riff with the open E is badass tho.

Can you do a tutorial for this song please? None of the tabs (like you said) are accurate.
I don't really have the time to make tutorials/lessons as they take much longer to put together compared to a cover. The video should give a very good indication to what's played because I filmed it close enough to see and because the song doesn't really have any difficult parts. If there are any specific parts you want some clarity on, let me know.

Songsterr's problem with this song is Ben Kasica's part is incorrect. Him and Korey should be playing the chords together, not Ben trying to emulate the violin.
Yeah there's always a lot of inaccuracies on tab sites, which is why I've resorted to learning everything by ear.
