Thanks for getting back to us. It is possible to use both of these descalers, as they are both suitable for the 5400 LatteGo. Both of these products are very similar, however, the CA6700/22 last for 2 descaling cycles whereas the CA6700/10 lasts for 1 descaling cycle. We hope this helps! Thanks for your question, Ögeday! The espresso machine will inform you when it needs to be descaled (a message will appear on the display). The descaling procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes. If you're using an AquaClean filter and replace this filter when the machine advises this, you diminish the need for descaling by reducing limescale build-up in your machine. Also, we advise adjusting the water hardness setting to the water hardness level in your region for optimal performance and a longer lifetime of the machine. This also prevents you from having to descale the machine too often. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

Later, water was dripping from somewhere. control board. They could not fix it anywhere because Philips has its component descriptions. Of course they didn't give me the schematic. I will add that the espresso machine broke two months after the warranty. Replacement of the entire board PLN 600 in the service. After returning from the service, I noticed a strange behavior of the display, sometimes it turned on, sometimes it didn't and I had to pull the plug every time. Return to service and replacement of the display. I warn everyone about this brand.

It means that if the status of the AquaClean filter is 10% or less, the screen shows a message for 2 seconds each time you switch on the machine. The machine asks you to replace the filter every time you switch on the machine, if the status of the filter is 0%. If the machine stops showing the filter activation message, you can still activate an AquaClean water filter, but you will need to descale the machine first.
