I think Aziraphale has the benefit of always being around humans that Muriel doesn’t. So he couldn’t have been this naive but was probably pretty naive anyway.
@@sawyer3119Take it up with the directors and Neil Gaiman if you’re gonna be a baby about it. Funny how I don’t think you’d respond that way if I was correcting someone accidentally calling Aziraphale she and her. Why the double standard?
That's because Gabriel doesn't remember that he's an angel. In season 1, he refused a cup of tea because he didn't want to sully the temple of his celestial body with gross matter or something like that. (Low-key imagining Azi getting a tiny bit of mischievous pleasure out of "Jim" accepting the cocoa later lol.)
2:56 I agree with Crowley. The angels doesn't look processionnal enough to stay in charge. Also, why Aziraphale things Muriel will etablish quickly that he lied? He seems her level of competency.
0:14. Now, with the exception of an all white uniform. If you're trying to observe in "secret" , it's probably NOT a good idea to say that you're a human police officer.......kinda gives it away, LoL 😜
2:30 It's very mild teasing, but I still want to give Crowley a little shove for that. Don't tease poor Muriel! He knew damn well they didn't have an answer for that. Maybe he can help Muriel with lying next season.
I may have misunderstood this scene the first few times I saw it. I thought Muriel was really trying to fool Aziraphale (and Crowley), but later we discover that Aziraphale met her during the matter of Job (if not sooner). So now I wonder if he is just playing along with her attempt to work undercover on Earth, and she KNOWS he is doing that. And that's why she doubles down instead of acknowledging that Crowley made her trip up about her first visit to Earth?
I love how Aziraphale is like, this is concerning, but also kind of adorable.
Yes totally
His facial expression at 1:21! xD
And helps her with her character
Aziraphale internally wondering if he was ever this naive, with an increasing fear that Crowley would say so either way.
I think Aziraphale has the benefit of always being around humans that Muriel doesn’t. So he couldn’t have been this naive but was probably pretty naive anyway.
Aziraphale has no leg to stand on-literally in this same episode he goes to Edinburgh disguised as a “newspaperman.”
3:25 It is now painful to see how Crowley believes that "one fabulous kiss" can make people fall in love with each other. 😭❤️ He tried everything...
😢😢
Ahh, that's why he kissed him and then looked at the two women.
@@o.m9514 I see what you mean. Nina in her cafe, and Maggie still sleeping on the record store counter...
IT breaks my heart to think that I can never see this scene for the very first time, ever again...Good God this made me howl.
Muriel is the most adorable angel since Aziraphale
She was adorable, I hope they keep her for season 3
I do too! Oh but btw Muriel is referred to with they/them pronouns in the show. They aren’t a girl.
A veces pienso que Mueriel resultara ser Dios

@@percyross7612is Muriel ever referred to by any pronouns in the show? I thought they/them was more of a fan headcanon
Inspector Constable is a really mysterious character. I can't tell who they are or what their significance is in the story.
Clearly she is a human police officer, who enjoys looking at cuppatea as any normal human does.
200 is kinda young though for a police officer though. She must truly be gifted
Aziraphale's lovesick expressione when he looks at Crowley who is talking about love
Poor Muriel was giving it their best effort lol. I love how Crowley just laughs while asking if it's their first visit to Earth.
2:53 in season 3 somebody needs to lock them up in that room and they are not allowed out until they've had an ACTUAL TALK about their feelings
I just love the annoyed “whose this now”😂
This entire scene was gold.
I like how innocent Muriel is.
The actress that did this scene was PERFECT! She was so adorable in it's entirety ❤😂
Such a perfect scene. She’s such a scene stealer, which is saying something since the other actors are also incredible…
Remarkable. There can't be many actors in the world who could play Inspector Constable's part so perfectly.
They are adorable
Muriel is so adorable, I love her!😊😊😊
That's their first born child
btw set the playback speed at 0.75x to get the original speed of the scene
The way they both IMMEDIATELY clock her as an angel is gold. Probably recognized her demeanor from when they both first went to Earth.
bro, muriel and aziraphale are competing for cuteness in this video.
This was honestly my favorite moment of the new season!😂
...the best part of a cupperty is looking at it 😄
God Aziraphale and Crowley were so parent to Muriel! They need to adopt them in season 3!!! 🤍❤️🤎
1:58 Both of us thinking: we found our child that we didn't even know we had
She's so BLOODY CUTE!
Muriel is so adorable. I love her. I hope we see more of her in season 3.🥹💖
Azi was checking his bf out 😂
Haha I love Muriel! I hope they're back for season 3!
She's delightful .
What is Aziraphales face at 4:00 😂❤
He wanted to pounce 😏
That is Aziraphale's patented "I want to climb him like a monkey climbs a tree" face.
a michael sheenism
Gabriel drank the hot chocolate instantly but muriel just looked at her cup if tea.

this is my favorite scene the dynamics is just off the charts
What do you mean fake police officer? That's obviously a very real, normal, human police officer

Good work inspector... 👀
I love Muriel so very much, they're just so... je ne se quois

Neil Gaiman created this character out of love for GNU Terry Pratchett, I'm convinced. This is a character Terry Pratchett would have loved.

I think it's a bit sadder, that Muriel doesn't expect to be remembered because they're so unimportant in Heaven's hierarchy.
Dont forget she's wearing a very elaborate disguise.
I love how they treat her like a lil kid, just being so sweet with her. Letting her get away with obvious lies, going along with it
