  • Here are the links for the to filament drive boxes I purchased. They range in price from $65 to as low as $38. I bought each one for $38 so you may have to wait a little bit until they drop in price. Although they have different names they are virtually identical.

    What is dry filament?
Dry filament is very important to achieve excellent printing. To avoid stranding irregularities contours and services that are not smooth a dry filament is a requirement. A filament dry box can deliver super dry filament into your printer to achieve excellent printing. This is a review of a very nice to spool filament dry box with one nice upgrade to bring the filament into a PTFE tube right into the printer to avoid moisture.

I’m so glad this was helpful for you. Were you able to order it through the information in the description below? I do receive a small royalty for that but you pay exactly the same price. Thank you for your help. Consider subscribing. These filament dryers are great. I actually have three of them, take care. Joe.

Great stuff. I had just bought one of these, and I was getting frustrated with the filament outlets getting bound-up and kinking filament. Who would have thought the spare couple of pneumatic fittings I had would be a perfect fit?
By the way, how long/often do you run these? Have you (or anyone else reading) ever hacked one to run 24/7?

I have not hacked mine to run all the time the longest it can run as you know is about 12 hours and I really use it a lot particularly to dry things like TPU. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.

Crazy how the own manufacturer doesn't even tell you to leave it open lol.

Thank you for your comment. You’re correct but if you don’t leave it open, it’s not as effective. So we just leave the lid slightly open and it’s much more efficient. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.
