I think everyone is pretty much speechless after hearing this one. Just when you think they can’t get any better. They always do!

There are many talented artists who could work forever and not do this. PTX is always so good but -- this is the Very Top of their Game.
Truly Grammy worthy!! One suggestion, if I may... When you restart after a pause, it's helpful to rewind 5 or 10 seconds to maintain continuity... Just something to think about! 🤔🙂
I could ( and have) listen to them 100 times, still same reaction - every time I cry. It’s like having a spiritual awakening. Thank you God for having them find each other. We (all of us) need this right now in history. Bless Ukraine and send them this song! Love love ❤️

Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli are the original artists for this song. It was written by David Foster and Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis in 1998 for the film "Quest for Camelot". 10 years later in 2008 Josh Groban joined Celine Dion for another duet of this song.
I never want to say "this is the best of PTX" because so much is just that good and because just about everything they do is so astonishing. **But I cannot deny, this is PTX at the very top of its game. And while I can't say this is their best I can say there's nothing better.**
I'm up to reaction 4 on this Pentatonix journey. Enjoying wathcing you get blown away each time.
I'm always amazed at the amount of beautiful sound that comes from just these 5 voices.
In my opinion it is Grammy worthy!!!!!
Pentatonix never lets you down. This was the most beautiful version of "The Prayer" I have heard. Thank you Pentatonix for doing it and doing it so stunningly. I loved seeing your reaction.

For PTX Christmas songs: Carol of the Bells, Grinch, Little Drummer Boy, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Mary Did You Know, That's Christmas to Me, Angels we have heard on high, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen are all excellent... of course there are so many more.

It is more than beautiful. Considering the tragedies that are happening and have happened in this country over the last year, it gives us hope that things will be all right after all. Give us faith so we'll be safe.

PTX has so many incredible (to use your word) Christmas songs. I think my favorite is “Mary Did You Know”, but I love them all. For a fun song listen to “The Grinch”. “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”, earned them a Grammy (well deserved). I’m pretty sure the song, “That’s Christmas to Me” is one of their originals. Others can correct me, if I’m wrong. These are just a few different of my suggestions.
I love your reactions. They are so genuine. Check out Amazing Grace from their Xmas album from last year. The video is stunning!!! Also, I Just Called To Say I Love You from the current Xmas album. That song has never been a fav Stevie Wonder song of mine but their video and version of it really tugs at the heartstrings. Happy listening and Merry Christmas!! 🎄

Now the real question is: did your goosebumps get goosebumps? Next stop is dance of the sugar plum fairy. That's Grammy #2. Jolene was #3. It's the song that has no words, sung by a band with no instruments = Grammy #2.

Silent Night is absolutely gorgeous as well; very simplistic and powerful all at once. Honestly I can't think of a song they've done that hasn't blown me away in some way. Even after watching them MULTIPLE times. ❤️ Them and your genuine reactions. You are on your way to becoming a Pentaholic 🙂

I have often been lost for words, when trying to describe Pentatonix's unique vocals & sound, & I still cannot express, or even come to terms, with what my ears are hearing, most times, but one thing I do know, is that, when I hear their voices, it always takes me to a place, that touches my heart, & can make me feel things, I didn't even know existed!!! To me, that is their gift, & what makes them, not only an amazing group, but incredible artists 💝 **THEY TRULY ARE A RARE GIFT** 💝
Just had to come back and comment 10 months later. Love you reactions!! This is Pure Pentatonix Perfection. Mitch excels in this with the purity and clarity of his voice, the notes that he hits and holds, his runs and vibratos. Scott with his operatic precision singing in Italian. Kirstie sharp and belting. Matt so deep and warm on the bass. Kevin driving the rhythm with percussion sounds and clashing cymbals. The superb visuals. The harmonies. The PTX signature wall of sound. How did this escape the Grammys?
This song gave me goosebumps and made me cry. It is so beautifully sung by Angel's.

Welcome to the PTX rabbit hole. I hear your comparisons to the original artist and others versions to these songs, however, lets not over shadow the fact that PTX is 100% a cappello... harmonies, beat-boxing, and Avi Kaplan's base notes, that to me sets them far apart from even the originals. Christmas is nearing, and I must suggest "Mary Did You Know', & 'The Little Drummer Boy'. After hearing The Little Drummer Boy is when I became a REAL Pentaholic. I also feel it a 'must' to do their version of John Lennon's 'Imagine' it shows just how diverse this whole group is and also gives a very very powerful message! I really enjoy your reactions and looking forward to many more!!!!

First time seeing this video. Yes, all of them are amazing, but I always can’t wait to hear Kevin!! His sounds are just unbelievable. It’s like the sounds he makes with his voice and the rest of him, wraps up any song with a brilliant bow and ribbon!

I have been waiting for this reaction video from you!!! I love Pentatonix songs but this one is unbelievable. I have listened to Celine Dion's version it is without a doubt beautiful. Pentatonix nailed this version it is heavenly and feels so much purer and heartfelt. "Beautiful" I hope you enjoyed this version cause I know I do.

I saw Pentatonix in Manchester, New Hampshire USA (it's in New England so it has a lot of English town/state names--hahaha). Pentatonix sounds just as good LIVE as they do here in a recorded version of a song. It's just bonkers that all of the singing & sounds come JUST from their voices.

This outdoes the Bocelli/Dion version both for production (to be fair, they simply stood and sang) but also for vocals. Five people making as much sound as the orchestra and the singers, but also telling the story. Far more inspiring. I love Andrea Bocelli and have for years, but this version upgraded from the original. Scott is singing in Italian and Mitch is actually translating again like the original. And don’t forget they will do this live on tour. One thing especially good about PTX is they never record anything they can’t do live. I enjoyed your reaction/review.

IL Divo's version is also a cover. The original is Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Actually, I believe they co-released English and Italian solo versions and the duet came a tiny bit later.

I subbed on your “Hallelujah” reaction, and then went scrolling to see what you’d think of this one (their masterwork thus far, if you ask me). PTX’s arrangements are absolutely otherworldly. This is a Carol Bayer Sager composition. Perhaps one of the most famous versions is the Celine Dion/Andrea Bocelli duet.

I love IL Divo too but you can't compare them to Pentatonix. It would be like trying to decide which of your children you love most.

I am a "Pentaholic" (Pentatonix fan) through and through. But do react to Home Free-Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. They are another a cappella group (5 guys) who were mentored by Pentatonix on the television show Sing-Off. This video is both beautiful in voice but funny.
