Tuff-Cut scissors. Normally carried by Paramedics and the like, to quickly cut off clothing without stabbing the patient.

Thanks. I learned something new today 😉. Now that I think about it they do remind me of those emergency shows.

I've seen adapters that are right angle adapters or even ones with ribbon cables. Not sure about in mini pci-e.

I was tempted to use a 90 degree adapter I had but then it would run into the caddy. The a+e slot has so many more cool adapters and options.

You can use clover to boot to nvme on older stuff.

I keep thinking of giving that a try.

@@handmedowntechis it a sata? it seems there should be a sata-2 on hamar. the sata port you found on hamar is sata-1 and sata-3. there is a preconfigured opencore than clover on github. you can boot to the latest macos sonoma with opencore legacy patch.

@@zhuocheng-li pcie lanes matter. On some platforms you may only have 1 pcie 16x and one pcie 1x so you may have to choose graphics over drive speed. And pcie version speed also matters. However most nvme drives should run much faster than sata.

I agree! I almost didn't release the video out of embarrassment but I figured it's sometimes useful seeing what calamities others get into 😉
