Every part of this NFSU 1 map likewise all of ambience in this game could've been perfect 'Liminal Space' if you would like to observe the lightning, texture, the architecture of building, white noise in some part This game is giving you clement sensation but it's made your soul feel desolate at same time
honestly i always played ug1 with the ost blasting in the bg, didn't even have a clue that they had ambiental sounds.

Industrial part @ 3:29 looks apocalyptic, odd for a racing game. Definitely looks like something straight outta Resident Evil or Fallout.

Well it's wasn't an open world, so it makes kinda sense that we didn't get cops ^^

Sounds quite unnatural. It sounds like a small neighborhood with a bunch of..... refrigerators? And air conditioners? The static machine-type sounds are just strange.
I think they just create a lot of industrial sounds; and i don't even know why; but it doesn't fit at all in some places, like the city centre (the 1st ambient sound) and freeway etc At least they improve a lot in U2 !
This is the feature of the Underground series. Eye-catching cars driving on problematic and complicated roads under a decrepit, miserable but colorfully illuminated city.
I'm sorry, but there is no ambient sound of Port Royal 😓
the probleme is, the game doesn't have free roam, and when you try to go to some places in "free roam" via the mod, the ambient sounds are all over the place; and glitch a lot; and most of the time, some ambient sound that you can have in the city center, you can find them in a industrial area XDDD That game is pretty mess up in term of ambient sound.
I didn't included all the ambient sound of U1; because i didn't know that the game had a lot more t'ill i found them in the game files ^^
But there is a link in the description of the vidéo where i give ALL the ambient sound of NFS U1, U2 Most Wanted/Carbon ! if you want it :)

agree ! And just to say, i've made a "remaster" version of an ambient sound of NFS U2/MW 05, and actually there is more to come in terme of old NFS ambient sound that i remaster, if you are interessted ! ^^ Because i'd like to know the opinion of other on it !

@@SonOfEternia because the game environement is programmed to work on specific races and places; when you go out of it, it's just like you said, a ghost town !
This game is my favorite i love it melissa was who more trouble give me but yes is a great game
Why does the audio keep lowering volume in every random while? Is it like that in-game?
