    Every RAV4 is equipped with Entune 3.0 multimedia including Wi-Fi Connect powered by Verizon, hands-free access to Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
    The standard Entune 3.0 audio system houses a 7-inch touchscreen that is perched atop the center stack. Entune 3.0 Audio Plus adds an eight-inch touchscreen and Sirius XM Radio. Entune 3.0 Premium Audio enhances the multimedia system with embedded dynamic navigation to help drivers chart their course.
    Enhancing onboard multimedia features, RAV4 can be had with up to five USB ports between the front and rear rows and an optional Qi wireless charging tray positioned at the front of the center console.
    RAV4’s multimedia setup is complemented by an all-new available JBL audio system. The next-generation premium audio setup incorporates an enhanced system architecture, new speaker design, and an improved tuning process. The result is an all-access pass to the most intimate music concert, all from inside a RAV4.

    Full specs will be released by Toyota on 11-20-18 at 07:00. It will go on sale in December & the hybrid version the 1st quarter of 2019. I expect the exact dates will be given on the 20th when they release all the information. I don't understand the need to keep it secret for so long. I've been following this vehicle since I viewed it at the NYC auto show earlier this year. This video contains the most information I've been able to find so far. Everyone else is keeping quiet because Toyota imposed an embargo on driving impression, mpg, and pricing. Finally apple carplay. I own a 2009 Camry Hybrid. Purchased it new & it has a little over 265,000 miles. Repairs have been minimal. That's the main reason I'm sticking with this logo. Just haven't decided which trim yet.

    The tech package is really cool. Great video!
    But if you're an iPhone owner and uses Apple CarPlay for music and navigation, what's the point of the Wi-Fi Connect package?
    Apple CarPlay comes standard on all models too.
    Need emergency assistance? Call 911 on phone via CarPlay.
    Need weather? Ask Siri via CarPlay.
    Navigation? Google Maps or Waze it via CarPlay.
    Listen to Music? Apple Music or Spotify via CarPlay
    Folks, it's a car to get you places, not a computer. It's a cool car no doubt, but I think the average driver would care so much about its tech features.

That's funny, all these "security concerns" yet Android Auto yields better reviews without any of these reviewers complaining about these so called "security concerns". • @cbatiau2528
    @cbatiau2528 5 лет назад +1

    Interesting that Toyota is working so hard to get all this remote and in-car computer pairing with smartphones, smartwatches, laptops and tablets, etc. But there's the worry about hacking with all this, whether just hackers having fun or people actually looking to steal vehicles. And, when all is said and done, I'd vastly prefer that Toyota produce a plug-in hybrid version of Rav4 than that they produce only a "mild" hybrid with all this focus on remote access...
