I’m usually (but not always) not a fan of 4 cylinder or V6 exhaust notes (the Chevy 4.3 v6 excluded, that thing sounds like a V8 at idle or until you really get on it), but I must admit this thing sounds good and clean. Reminds me of the sound of a GTR kinda

I literally bought this car just for the sound. I'm never gonna build a 700whp car, I just wanted something that made me happy when I start it in the morning. It honestly sounds incredible under load as well.

I love the vq37 engine sound. It’s a very distinct sound. This really makes me miss my z. Sounds like a GTR without turbo.

I bet a resonated x pipe or Borla pro xs dual in dual out muffler would sound great on this. That stock Y pipe set up is restrictive & odd compared to an actual x pipe

@@vqzxck a Borla pro xs dual in dual out brotha 👌 it's basically a resonated x pipe design. But looks like a dual in dual out muffler

Man it's so hard to get a infiniti q50 to sound really good but without any rasp on it, but this one had a bit of raspy sound to it in my opinion
Vibrant Resonators usually does the trick
I have a q50 with a muffler delete and full true dual. No rasp but I kept my stock resonators. You want some rasp or it will sound dull
Y pipe no cat single exit with a vibrant resornator. Literally no rasp

inspection is before hand usually, so once inspection passes once you can do whatever yo want

no i totally agree with you most of them sound funny but i have a 2014 taurus with the n/a 3.5L and just with a cold air intake really makes a deep deep group at low rpm , it sounds so damn sexy. i’m super picky about exhaust notes too. it can actually make that rumble you get from the 5.0L
i’ve also owned straight 6 twin turbo cars that sound like V8’s
