For a long time I thought those small bumps are a type of break out related to acne and I kept over cleansing my skin using acne soap . I now am trying to bring it back to life !! I kept the acne wash for my back and only my nose that has pores
I also used soap for a long time and that made my skin break out and my skin got so dry and itchy. I realised it later only when my skin got dry and moisturiser didn't work on my skin. I shouldn't have done that to my skin so it's really necessary to avoid using face soap for a long time. I know nothing works better for oily skin to get rid of oils on the face but don't use that, soap are often harsh and don't do good in long term. I still have dry face, the moisture of my skin hasn't recovered still yet and I'm using gentle cleanser. Idk how do I restore my moist skin back. My skin looks like a textured skin now because it has gotten so dry. So I avoid using any kind of concealer or foundation as it'd look worse and flaky.
@@dr.sunflower6336 i don’t know if it will help you but I used the avene cica lotion for my face and the oil Cera ve cleanser and my skin is back ! I also slugged for months . Now I’m using olive oil soap and the avene lotion and on top the Cera ve lotion . I know they say to avoid soap but there is something about the olive oil soap that helps my skin irritation and brightens my skin . Also I’ve been using it for years so my skin is used to it . I no longer exfoliate besides the area of my nose
This is totally random, but if you have pores, then here's what you can do to reduce the size of them: Fill a bowl with cold water, add like 5‐8 ice cubes, take a deep breath and dip ur nose or any part of ur face that has pores (you can even dip ur entire face) Ice helps. Keep ur face or an part of it in the bowl for 10 seconds, and no, not daily. I do not recommend doing it twice or daily if you have sensitive skin.
If I don't use active ingredients I get extreme cystic acne. But my skin barrier is so damaged and I don't know how to fix it. Most "gentle"cleansers have ingredients in them that clog my pores and cause breakouts.
What I do when I get cystic acne is I steam my face for 10-15 minutes. You can buy a face steamer or use hot water in a bowl and put a small towel over it, then hover your face over the steam it emits. Make sure to do this multiple times a day (and for multiple days). You can also use a warm compress. Both of these techniques will get the pus to rise to the top and it will pop by itself.
@@ayesha-mx9qhit is just water. But if it does THAT much to your skin. You need to check you tap water and the tap thingy. Avene is a very good brand
You dont need a toner
Why should I discontinue the use of active ingredient?
If you overuse an active ingredient or if you are allergic to it your skin barrier will be damaged.
How about niancinamide? Or propolis? Still ok?
