    I use this to get rid of dandruff! The applicator attachment works great for this. Just put it all over the scalp and let it sit for 30-60 min before washing your hair, make sure to really massage/scratch the scalp while shampooing. The product basically helps loosen up the dead skin cells so you can wash them out properly. Wouldn’t use this more than once per week though. And please don’t use it if you have itchy dandruff and scratch your scalp a lot because when it gets into open wounds like that it burns like hell!!!

      Are you using sunscreen in day during using glycolic acid? If not, your will surely get tanned as glycolic acid makes skin more sensitive and prone to sun damage and sun tan.

    Thoughts on The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid?

    • @lily_white
      @lily_white Год назад +4

      i tried it. It has a light oily feeling, so if you have sensory issues, it's a pass. I actually like to use it as a "mask" and leave it on for 5 minutes, GENTLY massaging my face for the last minute and then washing it off with a gentle cleanser. That being said, it does what it's supposed to do, so if you don't mind a heavier feeling product and your skin can handle that percentage, giving it a try is worth it. If you dont' like it for your face, you can ofc use it on your body like elbows, knees, etc.
      If you're looking for something more "before a serum" step, I'd recommend the Ordinary's 5% lactic acid. It's very gentle while feeling like water instead of a light oil and using it NO MORE than 2x/week.
      If you have a darker complexion, be super careful about the strength of your AHAs. You might want to go for less of a percentage.
