    Queda increíble! 👏👏👏👏 Hace unos años, cuando salió el primer Audi TT, Audi ofrecía una opción similar, y tal vez si empleaban ese método, no es de extrañar que esa opción de asientos de piel con en la costura tipo béisbol fuese muy cara... Desde ese coche no he visto ningún otro fabricante de automóviles que ofreciese esa opción directamente de fábrica 😉😉😉😅😅😅

      Hay un artículo interesante en el Hog Ring Forum de donde tomé inspiración para replicar esta puntada. Me llamó la atención de como fueron 'entrelazadas' las tiritas de cuero. Noté que usaron un método diferente a las otras puntadas artesanales. Si hubiera desarmado un asiento de Audi de ese modelo me hubiera dado cuenta de inmediato como lo hicieron.

      Una auténtica maravilla! 👏👏👏👏👏 Muy interesante artículo, y estoy 100% seguro que usted podría replicar los acabados de los dos Audi y el Acura, ya que sus manos son mágicas 😉😉😉😉 Yo no habría sabido cómo hacer este tipo de lazada sin haber desmontado uno de estos asientos, pero usted tiene una mente prodigiosa 👍👍👍
      Creo recordar que en leatherseats.com también ofrecían este tipo de acabados, y los precios tienen que ser astronómicos, porque requieren muchísimo tiempo de mano de obra, y ya sabemos que la mano de obra en Estados Unidos no es precisamente económica... 😅😅😅😅

      Hi Greg, A Hog Ring Forum post which stands out three different steering wheel stitches used as decorative on the edges of car seats covers: Crosss stitch, slanted stitch and basebasll stitch.
      The first two would be easy to perform, just by interlacing a long strip of leather through the whole pre-made holes.
      The challenge was to replicate the baseball pattern as much as possible.

      Shoemakers use it a lot here in Mexico. They call it 'washer'. I do not know the composition but its odor is like benzine.

      Labor hand in Mexico is not expensive. I do not know much about prices. I only upload youtube videos. A whole car interior in leather cost here in Mexico approx. from 500 to 600 USD In USA we are talking of 4000 USD approx...even more.

    Very nice! I was wondering how to do a seat like the original Audi TT. These also appear to have a yellow edge dressing on the cords. So you guess also here the cords are many small pieces?

      The design of the picture you sent is not baseball stitch. It is a 'slanted artisan stitch'.
      Things are much easier for this pattern. You do not need to cut small pieces. The edges of the lace can be painted to own taste.

      Precisely, I took some inspiration from a Hog Ring Forum post that stands out the 'baseball pattern' on an Audi TT second generation:

      BTW, the laces are narrow and thicker. Its edges were painted related to thread color giving a sports look.
      The angle of braided stitches are wider and more acute.
      I think it is matter of personal taste.
