    3:00 "wow it just popped right out"
    Hahaha The noise it made was awesome! Extremely satisfying. Kept rewatching the same 10 sec over and over

    Thanks Jordan. I've been wondering about how to clean out the third brake light area. Your video will be my guide.

    Hello. Thanks for the video very helpful. Did the dynamat help in that area? When i turn up the bass i feel like it is that plastic piece hitting the frame as you called it.

    I have the same car and the driverside rear making a slight creaking knocking sound going over bumps I removed the shock and noise went away so I installed and new shock with mount and bump stop and noise came back. the sound is where on the top of the shock meets the body next I will remove rear deck etc... and see if noise goes away. Update took the rear deck apart and found a loose clip must of been done when I got my windows tinted they removed rear deck for the 3rd brake lamp . Also you dont have to remove sub woofer to remove and the sub woofer bolts the factory uses locktite and the five 10mm bolts will just spin around due to the insert stripping out so dont remove it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also unhook thrid brake lamp connector before pulling it all the way out or you will break the wire ~

      It didn't appear to be anything special on mine other than what appeared to be a blue powdery type of substance on the subwoofer bolts once I removed the one close to the rear seats. I'm not sure what you are referring to that uses locktite

    • @mronemanband1
      @mronemanband1 2 года назад

      @@J.A.S.Create the blue substance is loctite and you dont remove the 5 10mm bolts because they will strip out the insert ! You will have to use a cutting tool to remove and then use a reg nut and bolt VW says dont remove or you will have to cut the insert and bolt away ! It will turn out to be a 2 hour job for nothing ! you remove rear deck without removing sub woofer ! remove the two pillars then the upper pillars then the deck and every thing is exposed !

    How did you get the screws back in for the side panels?

    • @J.A.S.Create
      @J.A.S.Create  2 года назад

      I'm guessing you are talking about the panels on the side of the seat. I believe some screwdrivers are magnetized. Mine was able to hold it as I was having reach for it. i think mine is a little bit magnetized. It too a little time but I was able to do. Maybe also you can try buying of the screen magnets from somewhere like Home depot or Lowes to hold the screw as you try to line it up or to get the screw if you accidentally drop it behind the panel

    Hey, man. How were you able to get the 10mm bolts out from the subwoofer enclosure? when I try to remove mine it just keeps spinning..

    • @thefallen924
      @thefallen924 4 года назад

      also, I think the vibration you're trying to fix is the same I'm struggling with. its coming from the metal washers and bolts that hold up the subwoofer deck. adding rubber washers should fix it.

      I'm not sure of why it is just spinning. The bolts hold the subwoofer should just come right out with the 10mm attachment. The bolts are pretty long and can feel like they are not moving. It can take a while to get the bolts removed unlike regular screws. You should start to see a space form between the frame and the subwoofer. I do have another video I will be posing soon where I think I found more culprits to the unwanted vibration. I hope you're able to get it removed 😃👍

      @@J.A.S.Create thanks, man! I have the same car(even same color) , but 2017. It's a great car for the money, but you can see where vw cut costs. I recently tuned it (unitronic stage 1+) and the performance is just sick. I plan on doing some sound deadening on the doors cuz there are some rattles that are driving me crazy lol. The one in the rear is pretty annoying. I watched a video from someone that has a passat with the same subwoofer deck, and when he rattled that washer, it sounded exactly like what I am experiencing. Here's the link to that vid in case you want to check it out! m.ruclips.net/video/xB9ghHAm5tY/видео.html

      @@thefallen924 yeah I agree, you can see where the costs are cut. I had seen the video and about the washers. I couldn't find a way to get the washer to stop but I think those need up not being the real issue for me. Also, I would highly recommended sound deadening in the doors. Like I mentioned in the video, it has brought it closer to Audi type of quality in the car. I plan on doing a tune also. I think the amount of stock power it has is nice but it just needs a little more. I'm thinking APR Stage 1 but how do you like the Unitronic overall?

    • @thefallen924
      @thefallen924 4 года назад

      @@J.A.S.Create I went Unitronic mainly because you don't have to go to a shop to get it flashed. you just buy the cable and tune. and if you get stage 2, it includes all the lower stages as well. the extra power is great, but what really makes it all worthwhile in my opinion, is the dsg tune. feels A LOT sportier, even in just drive mode. regardless of which one you pick, definitely do a dsg tune along with it!
