How do you address the leak with the hose to the oil and coolant…

Can y’all do a follow up for 2020 models? I can’t find a damn thing about them but I just replaced coolant a month ago and it’s already almost depleted.

I have a 2011 Hyundai sonata, leaking coolant fast!!
I changed the thermostat still leaking.
When I took out thermostat the gasget was attached perfectly on the housing hole, and the thermostat in place with tiny arrow lined up, so when I replaced it with the new thermostat i put thermostat in place (arrow) lined up on point, then i put the new gasket in the plastic housing cover exactly how it was when i opened to replace therm.
Drove it around and all antifreeze poured out immediately!!
So i took every damn thing apart again doing and double, triple checking every detail again.
Put it all back together... Air intake, 3 hoses a B to get off, then reconnected battery etc & etc.
The mother got hot leaked out all antifreeze again!
I got pissed & frustrated and redone it all over again...Same Ending Result😰😡🤬.
So I decided to take it in to a mechanic, a mechanic who redone it again!...I asked if I could watch him install it, because I "know" I made zero mistakes...and was soo baffled & frustrated! So I had to come to the idea that "maybe" (MAYBE) I made a mistake🤔
Watched mechanic #1 take everything apart an replace it. He did it "Exactly" how I did it to a T....Put it all back together filled antifreeze...and it all came pouring out😮😧
He was baffled enough to have another mechanic a shot at it!
I watched mechanic #2 disassemble and assemble everything "Exactly" as I did and exactly how Mechanic #1 did just before him...same loss all antifreeze.
I asked them twice to just fill with water instead of wasting antifreeze, or me having to pay for 2 complete fills of antifreeze, but they didn't listen and refilled both times with AFreeze👎
Mechanic #1 went to office and watched you tube video's, while the other mechanic was giving it a try.
He went to office to watch thermostat replacement videos.
Came back took it all apart, but this time he placed the rubber gasket around the edges/rim of the thermostat,...which the gasket was not on rim when I originally took it apart.
The thermostat sat alone, and the gasket was perfectly fitted in the housing.. (plastic covering the other half when the bolts are taken out.
And Its opened/parted from thermostat side. like a bowl with a fitted lid (opened) thermostat placing is on opposite side.
Remember, " not how it was when bolts off and opened.
So he puts gasket around thermostat rim, puts it all back together and no leaks!... ther were a couple drops, but the car underneath had already leaked soo much that we just thought it was just from bottom of car already being soaked from leaking all antifreeze for a solid week or so.
I was soo HAPPY!!! relieved that it appeared fixed, because no immediate full force antifreeze pouring/gushing like a river.
K so, I paid like "ONLY"
$160.00 😖 basically for them to do exactly what I had already done 3x's.
Before I changed out the new thermostat the very first time, I asked at Autozone, if the gasket should go on the rim of thermostat, they said NOPE...it goes in the plastic connecting housing (Inside) the housing inner rim where it will stop leaks, and have a tightly fitted seal when bolted back together.
K, so I drove my car for a week, had mom a physical therapy, went out after appointment, and car would not start...opened good and ZERO antifreeze, not even a drop in the over flow...🤨😖😖😖😡
And get this, my hot/cold gaige never showed car was hot...infacy way overheated when I arrived home.. .gaige still on regular place...NOT showing hot...at all!
So i moved on to next option and bout first a new radiator cap, and also a coolant thermostat sensor...right🤔...very possible that could be the problem...or the radiator cap.
Get home it was a total B to get to, and about 2 Inches of hand space, so I get the coolant sensor out (finally!!)😰
Go to put the new one in, and the REALLY Smart Girl at Autozone gave me the wrong size coolant sensor....only about 3 hours wasted...hands scraped up, back killing me and all greasy...and 1:30 in the effing morning....then there's a little holing pin that holds the sensor solid in place, so the sensor doesn't pop out right, "TINY" little thing trying to get it out of a 2 inch space....and after about ((30 damn min)) just trying to get that out, so the old sensor would release I finally got it out...YAY!!!
Put the New One In, then last thing "put the miniscule holding line back in, and realize the EVER SOO SMART GIRL that works at Autozone on 7800S 2600W.....
Gave me the "Wrong" damn part!!! Causing holding pin not to fit, because sensor was TOO EFFING BIG!!!!
And just as I figured that out...in my 2 inch space...hands scraped up....
      I DROPPED THE EFFING PIN.🤬🤬🤬
SO, CAR & I JUST SIT.
I CAN'T DRIVE IT WITH NO PIN, BECAUSE THE OLD SENSOR WILL FLY RIGHT OUT & Straight Upward.. WITH THE SUPER HOT OVERHEATING PRESSURE...THE ANTIFREEZE WILL EXPLODE ALL OVER THE ENGINE.👍👍👍
      ☘JUST PAR FOR MY LIFE!!!☘
      1. Thermosta$32
      2. Loss of Antifreeze roughly 8 Gallons/Jugs
      (roughly) what $15 x 8 in the past 2 weeks =$130😟
      3. $160 to Mechanic
      3. New Radiator Cap $11
      4. New Coolant Temperature Sensor$24
      TOO DAMN MUCH!!!
      Approx $375 down the drain😖😠😭

      😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴
      😰
      Help!.....What Is The Problem????????????

I know you wrote all that a few years ago, but just want you to know that I appreciate that you wrote all that. I just returned from the shop where my car was pressure tested with dye for my losing coolant from the reservoir. Long story short, thermostat housing needs replaced, namely as said to me, water outlet housing. After reading all that you wrote about what you went through, plus the 2 mechanics after you, I'm now glad I'm just going to have to pay the price I was quoted, which is way overpriced. How did you ever make out with your repair?@@misscindy58
