Our works: Crowds watch Green Street bridge superstructure lift

Inland Rail achieved another milestone in Victoria in September, successfully lifting the Green Street bridge superstructure into place.
A crowd of around 150 people turned out to watch the 650-tonne Superlift crawler crane lift the 200-plus tonne steel bridge structure into place.
We caught up with a couple of Wangaratta local residents who were excited to see the progress and are looking forward to the benefits were delivering as part of Inland Rail.
We’re on track to complete construction of Inland Rail in Victoria in 2027.
