Well at least Krell acknowledged Appo's nickname rather than call him by his number designation.
I also noticed that, it's a very interesting detail, I was thinking to make a video with all scenes when Krell actually said the nicknames of the Clones instead of the designation

@@Hotshots2890 Mayday was a commander and had pure standard white clone armor. the only thing that makes him stand out was the wrappings he had on his armor since it was damaged and decaying. So im sure there were a lot of unnamed officers with just pure standard white armor.
It might be a rushed promotion for Order 66. At that point Rex was currently with Ahsoka, temporarily as a new commander and Anakin could lead the 501st without a commander - but I guess during Order 66 they needed a second in command because he's busy cooking up some younglings.
@@bonelesswangz1491 Yeah, but tbf that was Post order 66 and early War mantle, so a lot of Clone troopers had lost rank insignia. Captain Wilco only had a standard gray shoulder Pauldron, Cody also repainted to grey, and most of the Commandos who led squads were completely markless besides being commandos.

Its the one thing I'd really like, if they could make prequel special editions that tweak the clones that are supposed to be Thire and Appo to have their clone wars markings instead of just their generic markings used in revenge of the sith
YES! That would be really crazy, especially with Thire, I was thinking about making a video about him, but it´s so hard because so much is likely and not confirmed, for exmaple was he in the first Bad Batch episode, which Clone is he in the Senate?
@@revengeofthecinema Wookiepedia has him listed as the Clone shock trooper in the centre of the group in the senate chambers.
And give them a kama and a pauldron and I don’t think we saw phase 2 thire in TCW

How do u know it’s Appo if they all look the same ?
Appo has an arrow facing downwards on his helmet, it’s very subtle if you don’t pay close attention.
Reference to Appa from ATLA
the arrow is one thing, but his armour is slightly different to the other clones, so I checked the whole time for the helmet and the armour. I didn´t include one scene when I wasn´t sure it´s him

He’s the one talking, another clone near him is Fox, not the Coruscant Guard commander but a trooper in the 501st that obviously served at the storming of the Jedi temple
